I sighed and leaned my head on my desk. I have been trying to figure out how to combine charity cases and create the correct event for it since Zayn is in charge of budget and sponsors he isn't too familiar with this part of the work. He can help of course but he can't find the serious solution, which is my job. I leaned back in my seat, Harry said he wanted to come by later and talk about plans for valentines day, which was in a week and a half. His birthday ended up being a hit. The tabloids ate up the fact he left his own party, and Harry's team wasn't mad at all the good press. I compared charts from previous charity events and tried to look at ones we haven't done recently. It's been all charity walks or festival type events. We can't do that again.. we need something that will make it easier to reach such a high goal and help with the combination of- someone knocked. I took a deep breathe "come in" Harry peeked his head in and I smiled "Harry hey" "hey babe" he shut the door and walked over to me. He leaned over my desk carefully and gave me a kiss. "how's work?" I smiled a small smile "stressful... there's a lot I need to figure out with finding two charity's to combine" "what do you mean?" he asked and I leaned back "well remember when I told you how someone wants to hold a charity that we have done fundraisers for already many times last year?" he nodded. "well even though it's a really good cause we have to make sure we can create equal opportunity for all, is the simplest way I can think to explain it". "well what's the charity?" I leaned forward skimming a graph "It's to raise money to safe houses for people who are running or need sanctuary from bad situations. for families, teens, anyone.. there aren't very many and the ones they have have almost no money. But happily the work we have done has made it better for them. just hard to continuously do so" "this is perfect"he said.

I chuckled "bad timing H" he snorted "no not the people needing help part.. I have been wanting to pitch an idea for something I want to do Charity wise and this would be the perfect thing to match with this" I furrowed my brow "what do you mean". "Well I wanted to raise money to give to the LGBTQ hotline and make it a bigger thing, it's where people who need someone to talk to or advice about their sexuality or identity call to get some extra help. I called them a couple times when I was a kid... they're not very popular but I think it's really important for something like that to be given a bigger platform and with enough money they could reach more kids" he said excitedly." I smiled "Harry that is a really good pitch... and definitely something we could do, in the future... but right now maybe not". He furrowed his brow "well why not... that's something people do to feel safer like going to a safe house" I sighed "yes that's true but that is a whole different base line. That would have to be something we meet with the company them self about and discuss plans with them... we can't just raise money and shove it at them. Charity isn't that easy" I said trying to explain this. "So why couldn't you call the company and try to make it happen" I furrowed my brow "Harry it doesn't just work over night like that... things like this take planning." "so you could plan with any other charity but not this one?" is he getting, mad? "Harry this isn't something personal, for gods sakes I'm gay too, I love this idea but you can't just expect me to do this over night. we have deadlines. This isn't just raise money and hand it over. we have to actually do a lot of work just to set up an idea" "well then instead of telling me why you can't why don't you call them and make it happen, as someone who is gay I would think you would see why this would be just as important". we were both standing now "Oh my god Harry this isn't about being gay! it's about work and how the damn process works! we can't all just have our manager do things I actually have to go in to detail about how things go! I have to send emails before I can even consider a charity let alone call someone up and say "hey we want to give you money!" he let out a breathe "oh so you think my manager's just do all my bidding now! I actually put in a lot of work for my career! and I thought you were someone who was more driven about things you cared about!" "it isn't always just about what someone wants Harry!" "fine!". He grabbed his coat and turned and walked to the door "I guess you aren't who I thought huh" he said practically spitting the words before shutting the door, a little hard, behind him. I panted resting my hands on my desk before I looked down and saw my hands shaking. I could feel how fast my heart was beating... what the hell just happened?

I tried to get some work done but I couldn't focus on anything except what happened with Harry. I kept hearing his words over and over again. He acted like I didn't want to do the pitch because I didn't care or like I didn't personally want to. But I don't think people realize how intense being charitable can be. My whole business is based off this so it's even more of a process. We get an idea and the whole thing takes at least 6 months to plan and create. Harry was here for the last one we id but he didn't see anything behind the scenes so, to him it was something that just happened. It is a really good idea, I even added it to events we have as priorities... but that type of pitch would take a tremendous amount of more time then a normal charity event... like the one we are aiming for. The way this goes is we get an idea pitched to us. We have to talk about how beneficial and how good of a cause it is (because some people will actually pitch charity ideas like free pizza  service or something that isn't helping anyone in need). If we find it to be necessary and something that would benefit those in need we email places who work in whatever that charity entails and talk about what type of funds they need. We have to have our budget team do expenses for how much it would cost in total for supplies. How much we would need in sponsors and in fundraising as well as the extra money we need to earn for the charity and us. Then we have event teams who will take whatever event I give (or Zayn) and they have to work with the budget team and figure out how much it would be to hold the event, boom we need a sponsor for that too. then the planning and hiring begins, we look for venues and design the entire charity and do contracts with the charity's that keep them from using the money towards anything except the things they need. (we have had people try to steal it or use it to buy like a hot tub instead of actual supplies) so contracts make it so people are actually given what they need. and then the actual charity can start. He thinks I can just call someone up and tell them I want to give them money?

I hung my key up and sighed, Beau was staying with Niall because she had a big audition to be in some series on Netflix. She was going to play the child version of the queen in a show coming out called 'The Crown'. I sat on the couch. How could he get mad at me? I mean I guess I shouldn't have yelled back but- No you know what. He came into my work when I was already stressed about work and blew up at me as if I did something wrong, when I didn't. so you know what I wont even stress about it.

I uncrossed my arms not even realizing I had them crossed... then why do I still feel horrible if I just convinced myself I did nothing wrong. Oh yeah. I'm in love with him and he just said I wasn't who he thought I was...
