Peter's POV.

I was swinging around looking for something to do. I hear a scream and head in that direction as fast as I can. I get there and see a man trying to kidnap this girl.

"HEY! Didn't your mother ever teach you to treat women with respect." I say webbing his gun away from him.

He comes running towards me trying to punch me. I jump dodging him and webbing his feet together. I look over to see the little girl about 10 crying. I walk over to her crouching in front of her to not scare her. 

"Hey are you okay? Where are your parents?" I ask in a quiet tone.

"I-I don't have an-any." She stutters crying. She slowly walks up to me.

"Do you want to stay with me and my aunt? At least till we can find you a home." I say muttering the last part and offering her a hug. 

She runs into me giving me a hug, "Yes please." She says burying her head in my shoulder. 

"Alright. Let's head to home." I say whispering for Karen to call the police and give them the location.

She nods, "Ok, hold on tight." I say holding her with one hand and starting to swing home. 

10 minutes later

I open my window crawling in and setting her on the ground.

"Hi, my names Peter. Do you know your name?" I ask.

"Lily." She says quietly. 

"Well Lily do you want to meet my aunt today or tomorrow?" I ask giving her an option.

"Tomorrow... Could I have some food though?" She asks the second part really quiet.

"Sure, what do you want?"

"A sandwich is fine."

"Okay I'll go get that," I go to my closet grabbing a hoodie and some of my old shorts from when I was 10, "Here you can change into these if you want." I say handing her the clothes. 

I head to the kitchen grabbing bread, cheese and turkey making both her and me a sandwich. May walks in and asks how patrol was. I tell her that I found a little girl and that she can meet her tomorrow. May nods and I head back to my room knocking before entering. 

"Come in..." I hear a small voice.

I head in seeing her in my hoodie looking around.

"Here, hope you like it." I hand her the sandwich. 

Seh takes it thanking me. We start eating and I hold some small conversations so I can get to know her, and she can get to know me. After a while I look at the clock and notice that it's really late. 

"Time to go to bed. You can sleep in here and I'll sleep on the couch." I say helping her into bed.

"Can you stay here." She mutters.

"Sure. Do you want me to sing or read you a story?" I ask.

"Can you sing a song?" She asks with a little excitement in her voice. 

I start singing (enter song) I finish the song and look over seeing her almost asleep.

"Night Lily." I say and I start heading out.

"Night dad..." She says falling asleep.

I head out the couch with a smile. I'm her father figure. I have to keep her. I think laying down and falling asleep.
