One Day Prior (aka midnight)

Peter's POV.

I was sitting in my room thinking about the perfect gift for my dad's. Dad might like something tech related, but Papa... oh maybe... yea. 

I quickly rush putting my suit on and swinging out my window. I have to hurry. I have less than an hour to get to the antique store. I called not too long ago asking if they had it, they didn't know and they close in an hour. 

I managed to get here in time. Yay. I think. Walking in I quickly move around looking for what I needed. An old timey satchel, oh and old-time painting pretty but not what I'm looking for... 

"There!" I say quickly walking over to it, "Its perfect." I say looking at the old-time watch. 

Right next to it was also an old army badge, usually worn by generals. I quickly go buy them.

"Is this all?" They ask. 

"Yea. And thanks for staying open a little longer than you usually do, I really appreciate it."

They nod and we finish the checkout and I leave. 2:30 am... I still need to make dad something.... I try to hurry home, but I don't get in till 4 am. If I want to make something, I'll need to do it in my room. But I'll need to get the parts first. 

I run down to the lab grabbing some metals and a good computer. I start making a small body, while talking to FRIDAY. This was for her to. 

Present Time

I was awoken around 10 being called down for breakfast. 

"Here goes nothing." I say grabbing the gifts. 

I walk into the kitchen, hiding the gifts behind me. 

"Wacha got in your hands Pete?" Dad asks. 

"Just something for you and Papa." I say quietly, while Papa sits down, "Here," I say handing them their respective gifts. 

"This is beautiful Pete, where'd you get this?" Papa asks, tears forming in his eyes. 

"An antique place. It should be just like your old one." I say.

"Thank you Pete." Papa says giving me a hug. 

"Did you make this?" Dad asks, I nod, "It's amazing, what does it do?" He asks.

"Well it'll help you manage time better. I built FRIDAY into it and gave her a bit of an upgrade. Now she'll be able to help you more and keep you company better." I explain.

"Thank you." He wraps me in a huge hug. 

The rest of the day was spent just the three of us. Watching movies, playing games, and talking. Just having a great time.
