Nigel:
Nigel's frown remained and he actually had to think about the answer to that. Did he? He wasn't quite sure.
"..I didn't dislike it," he answered, quite truthfully. Did that automatically mean he liked it? He never really considered himself who cared for anything as psychical contact.
"It's just something different. I suppose that's not a bad thing."
He cocked his head and smiled again, careful this time.
"Why are you even asking?"
Alex:
I kept staring him straight in the eyes. My lips were lightly parted while I bend over him again - like I tried to look better at his expression. When he answered, I couldn't keep the corners of my mouth uncurled. It was like he wanted to hide it away from me, the way he felt - because somehow I knew I wasn't the only one.
'Curiosity,' I answered softly. 'Just curiosity.'
From this moment I finally seemed to realize how bright blue his eyes were. Even though it was dark, they were lighting up. Like they carried every slight sense of light with them.
Nigel:
Nigel studied Alex' expression and somehow his lips formed into a displeased pout. He didn't like the way Alex was staring at him, though again he wasn't quite sure why.
"Must have been quite some curiosity, to keep me pinned to the bed for an answer,"
he pointed out, not believing it was only curiosity.
He didn't press on about it, though.
"Now why are you still on top of me. Is my answer still not satisfying enough to you?"
Alex:
His displeased pout came back, like it came back other times when I had talked to him, before this. I swallowed and blinked a few times. After that, I took a deep breath while I shoved one of my hands to the direction of his neck and glanced at his chest then, like I was checking his body again - this time on a thoughtful way.
'It was,' I mumbled quite absent.
I glanced at his eyes again when he asked me why I was still on top of him.
'I don't know. Do you mind?'
My voice was almost the same as the first time we met each other. But then like his voice, when he stared at me while I was snooping through his stuff and such.
'You could've pushed me away already.'
Nigel:
He shrugged his shoulders, for as far as he was able to in his current position.
"I don't mind.. it's just curious."
Also, he couldn't push Alex away. Well he could, but somehow he didn't find it appropriate.
He cocked his head when Alex studied his body and grinned teasing again, whether he could not decide whether to be amused or irritated all the time.
"See anything you like?"
He knew the question would make Alex feel embarrassed, but at the moment he couldn't bring himself to care. He even kept looking at Alex as if he was expecting a serious answer.
Alex:
'Hmmm,' I mumbled, and a little smirk appeared on my face. 'Curiosity is a weakness.'
