Nigel:
It was impossible to see Alex, but his presence was a fact. After a moment his voice filled the empty hall.
"I can't believe you said that.." his voice echoed slightly through the hall so it was impossible to tell where exactly it came from. But eventually Nigel moved away from one of the pillars and showed himself.
"I can't believe you actually compared me to a sickness."
Though what he said was probably meant to sound offended, it didn't, his voice was indeed entirely emotionless, and so was his face, almost making it unsure whether he was just screwing around or not.
"Are you telling me now that you believe nothing of what I told you?"
Alex:
I frowned when I suddenly heard Nigel his softy but low voice echoing through the hall. I gazed around me for a few times, not understanding were it came from.
As soon as I finally met his eyes, I swallowed and parted my lips quite speechless.
'I'm not comparing you as a sickness, Nigel. It was just a joke. Of course I don't want to get cured from you. You have become my everything. I will probably die without you.'
I shook my head as he asked me the second thing, and I came closer to him while inhaling deeply.
'No, Nigel. I'm not telling you that. This is just a misunderstoodment. Trust me.'
Nigel:
He pulled a face, finally breaking some of that emotionless expression, though not much.
"Please.. You can fool that guy for all I care, but you can't fool me. It was nót a joke and you know it."
He stepped closer, crossing Alex' personal space until their faces were only inches apart.
"No.. It's not. You don't believe me. Not enough yet anyway. But you will. I will prove it. As soon as possible. Whatever it takes, I will make you understand."
Alex:
'Of course not, Nigel. You're... You don't understand, it was a joke. Of course I don't want you to get out of my life, not anymore. And... I really-'
Did I believe him? After all he had said? I inhaled deeply and swallowed afterwards, hesitating about the answer.
'You must understand that this is a lot for me to believe in, right? Without any proof. Of course I believe you, I just doubt it if we'll get whatever you're aiming for.'
I pulled my head back when he came too close in my personal area. Lately I never cared, I even liked it. Now, it suddenly seemed to be like I was scared for him again.
'I wish you could give me proof...'
Nigel:
He narrowed his eyes, not backing off. As soon as Alex expressed his doubt that he could prove it, Nigel grabbed his wrist and pulled him along, back to his dorm.
He pulled him inside and closed the door, after which he pushed Alex back against the door with surprisingly much strength and he crushed his lips against Alex', no longer in a gentle way. It wasn't exactly a nice kiss, it was too violent for that, but at the same time it was more than any kiss they shared before.
Alex:
I swallowed and gazed at his eyes when he didn't backed off. I had no idea what to think right now. I didn't even know how to feel right now. It was just odd, awkward, and weird. As he suddenly grabbed my wrist very roughly, I frowned while following him - not that I even had a choice. He suddenly seemed to be way much stronger than me.
