Alex:

When I felt a kiss in my neck again, just like before, I parted my lips and blinked a few times. This was going to be a sleepless night again, probably. I swallowed when I felt his breath on my skin. Again, I had no idea which attitude I had to take - or what I had to say.

After a few seconds his eyes suddenly met mine, which made me press my lips again because I had nothing to say, not yet. When he talked about distracting me, I lightly frowned - wondering what his next step was going to be. This guy had too much tricks and surprises that I almost couldn't be more suspicious then ever. When I felt his lips on mines I blinked again - and gasped afterwards like he scared the shit out of me.

'You think you comfort me with this?' I mumbled while I kept staring him straight in the eyes. I had incredibly much struggles with saying that sentence. I couldn't even stare at him that proper.

Nigel:

He moved back his head and stared back at Alex almost innocently.

"Yes.. I mean this is what you want, right?"

He cocked his head and moved his hand up to brush his fingers over Alex' face.

"Admit it.. In the last three seconds, you didn't once think about Susan anymore. I'm in your mind, I can know."

He smiled and gently pushed Alex hair back, never breaking the eye contact.

"Isn't a little distraction exactly what you need?"

Alex:

I stared at him, quite emotionlessly and pursed my lips. I couldn't deny, indeed. But I wasn't going to tell him, he could read my mind anyway so why would I take the effort to stumble on my words.

I kept staring at him and titled my head a bit without saying a word. After that, I bit on the inside of my cheek. He was right, of course did I need distraction. But...

'You're right,' I answered briefly and tuneless.

Nigel:

He smiled confidently when Alex told him he was right.

"I always am," he reminded Alex, really believing that himself too.

He moved over and brushed his lips over Alex neck again, up the small hole underneath his ear.

"So what is wrong with this distraction, when no one else can see it? Or better yet, do you have a better idea to forget your pain? Because then I'm all.. ears." he whispered, moving his lips against Alex' ear at the same time.

Alex:

I took a deep breath and sighed once when he stroked with his lips along my neck again. Did he even want me to answer? I chocked my head and shivered when I felt his breath tickling in my ear.

'Damn, that tickles dude.'

I softly pressed his lips away from my ear while rubbing my ear against my shoulder. When I realized what he just said, I narrowed my eyes lightly. Of course he was right, but in my opinion Susan was near me. How disturbing would this be for her?

'Nothing,' I mumbled on his question about the distraction while staring thoughtfully at the ceiling.

Nigel:

He pouted his lips when Alex pushed him away again, almost like he was disappointed.

"Nothing is often another word for: 'I have my reasons, but I'm not telling you', isn't it? Not that you have to. I know this is about Susan. But wouldn't she want you to move on?"
