Alex:

I gritted my teeth as I saw his smile. It almost looked like he had pity with me, but of course he didn't. That should probably be a miracle. He didn't cared about one of my feelings, only about fate.

I gazed away as he mentioned that I was angry. He could find the answer without me answering him, of course. Why did he even take the effort to ask me then? I swallowed again, lightly clenching my fists, but pursed my lips and glanced up as he walked away.

I didn't wanted to follow him, In the first instance, but then I realized I had to. Something in me urged me to.

As I walked towards his room, I hadn't looked around, not only for once. First, I always got so incredibly scared by doing this. Afraid that I would be catch by my own father, sneaking to my "enemy" his bedroom. Now I didn't felt anything at all, except an odd weird feeling.

When I reached his room, I enter it without even nodding, and walked towards to his desk to grab the chair that stood in front of it. I wasn't going to lay next to him of course. No, I was about to torment him by staring at him with my pierced and blaming stare.

Nigel:

Nigel was remotely satisfied when Alex followed him in, though he was also surprised as Alex simply sat down on the chair. The surprise was visible in Nigel's eyes as he stared back at him, but he didn't ask. He knew why Alex sat there, staring at him ominously. It just surprised him he did. After all it had been Nigel who started that. Maybe they were already beginning to act more like each other than Alex was aware of.

"Hmm.." he just hummed and then he turned to get some fresh sleeping clothes from his closet. He changed into them, obviously having no problem at all with Alex watching him. They were in each other's minds after all. Why should he hide something futile as his body?

He put out the light then and got into his bed without another word. He stared back at Alex, though. It was almost like a staring contest, like he was trying to see who would give in first, like he was daring Alex to come lay next to him anyway.

Alex:

I pursed my lips as I lightly narrowed my eyes. My stare was suspicious now, and the way I sat was slovenly, just like the way Nigel plopped down at the seats in the train, once.

First I didn't follow him with my eyes, when he suddenly seemed to hum and walked towards to his closet to redress himself. Then, I slowly turned my head, keep staring at him, not ever bothered by the fact I could see his body now. The way he acted disgusted me. Like nothing happened tonight. Like it was a normal Friday eve. I gritted my teeth as he took place on the bed again, still staring him straight in the eyes as he stared at me.

I knew he what he was doing, trying to overtake my stare, trying to win this staring contest. I tilted my chin lightly, standing up and shove the chair gently to his proper place without breaking the eye contact, though.

After I had done that, I walked towards to his bed, sitting on the edge of it and lightly bending over his upper body, like he did before at me when he asked me to come with him on a night trip - the night he showed me his basement.

'You know what I am wondering?' I mumbled as I slowly came closer while I kept staring him straight in the eyes. 'What had you done if you were my Maraclea. It seems that everything is possible, so I easily could fall for you.'

Nigel:

He was indeed waiting for the moment Alex would look away. But the moment never came. At that point it was Jack he was looking at, not Alex. Alex was weak, but Jack never gave up. Not in anything.
