Nigel:

He nodded and took both Alex' hands, so when he got back up his feet he could pull Alex along with him.

"We don't have to go back yet, though.." he suggested, though he most just didn't want to go back yet himself.

"We could go somewhere else."

He cocked his head, studying Alex curiously suddenly.

"Do you have a house, Alex? ..Or were you born within the school?"

Nigel couldn't imagine he'd lived there his whole life. That his father had been a headmaster for his entire life.

Alex:

As he took my hands to pull me up, I gazed in his eyes and stood up in one smooth move.

'Thanks,' I mumbled after he released my hands so I could pull my t-shirt down. I swallowed and gazed up when he suggested we didn't had to go back yet. Obviously he didn't wanted to - and the best part was, me neither. I nodded and sheaf my hands into my pocket as he asked me if I actually had a house.

'I do,' I answered him, making a chuckling voice - even though it was nothing more than a sort of sigh. I pursed my lips and stared at my feet while moving them a little bit.

'I'm just not going there very often. I often went to Josh his house or stayed at school. It used to be my mom's house.'

I gazed up and tilted my head a bit while pressing my lips softly.

'I was born in a hospital. My mom sacrificed herself to birth me, as I probably already told you...'

I pursed my lips and hit my eyes to the ground again, staring thoughtfully at the tip of my shoes now.

'You want to go there?' I asked as I suddenly gazed up, searching for Nigel his eyes again. 'To my house, of course.'

Nigel:

Nigel looked at Alex interested when he told him his story, something about his past, which didn't often happen. Alex was more than happy to speak of general history most of the time, but not of his own. So Alex had actually never told Nigel before what happened to his mother. But for Nigel noticed there was no mother in the picture, he had guessed something like that. He decided not to mention, though.

He just nodded his head in silence when Alex asked him if he wanted to go there. Of course he did.

"..If you're okay with that, at least."

Alex:

My lips lightly curled into a smile as he answered me, and I nodded while shrugging my shoulders once.

'Sure, let's go. It's near the harbor.'

I took his hand and pulled him slowly towards the entrance of the cave - until I realized we were leaving the cave without extinguish the fire.

'How about that fire you made?' I mumbled when I gazed at his eyes. I raised my eyebrows and turned my entire body towards it. I licked my lips and narrowed my eyes lightly.

'We need sand... Or do you think it can't damage this place?

Nigel:

He turned around to the place when he stood near the entrance but shook his head.

"This place is made from stone.. It doesn't catch flame. Don't worry, it will put itself out."

He smiled almost teasingly, vaguely amused by Alex' need to protect this ancient place, and lifted out his hand.
