Chapter 23: Hoenn League! (2)

The league started with Morrison, Ash's rival who Ash fortunately met again before the match starts and he won with a Beldum who only knows one move...? And eventually evolved into a Metang!

Ash followed his technique and told Pikachu to use Iron Tail repeatedly against the Hitmonlee to win

"I don't think that it was necessary for Ash to copy Morrison, despite Ash having a whole bunch of moves to use, he still chose to do what Morrison did but his pokémon only knew one move...I don't think it was that much great" Arlo said frowning
"To be honest, I agree with you on this one, Arlo. It wasn't that much necessary, but he still won nonetheless" You replied frowning as well

"Hey, guys, let's go and check out Tyson's match in the other stadium" Max said to Ash as soon as he arrived
"Yea, it's a great idea, let's go guys!" "Pi Pikachu!"

"Hey! Tyson!" Tyson turned around hearing a familiar voices
"Oh hey guys, I'm glad you made it here"
"Yeah, and go and defeat your opponent now!" Arlo said excitingly
"Of course!"

The match quickly started with Tyson's Meowth vs a Persian

Meowth managed to defeat the Persian but even after winning it went to strike a fury swipe to the unconscious pokémon. Tyson returned the Meowth and explained Meowth's past and then Arlo reminded everyone that Y/N's match was gonna start in any minute now making the H/C haired girl and Spearow dashed to the stadium in hurry.

"We made it just in time!" You cried out fixing the H/C hair which was a complete mess after all the running "spe Spearow" Spearow took a deep breath and sat on your shoulders ready for whatever was going to happen

"Alright, your ready to go Spearow?"
"Spe-a-ROW!"
"Alright then!" You shouted entering the field in slight fear
'Keep calm and focus Y/N, just focus and you can do it' you sighed before letting Spearow go to the field as your opponent let out a Weezing

"Now! We have Y/N up on the stage with her beloved Spearow and then we have Jason with Weezing on the stage! So let the battle begin now!!"
"Weezing! Quick use Sludge Bomb!"
"Spearow dodge and use quick attack!"
Weezing took the hit and was sent flying away
"Now, Spearow use peck!"
"Weezing use dodge"

"Hmm....I think Y/N should know that none of Weezing's attack would do much damage to Spearow but Spearow's attacks will do great damage to Weezing"Brock said spectaculating (lmao is it even a correct word cuz translator isn't helping-) the match

"Alright! Now Spearow drill peck!" Spearow attacked Weezing but it bolted towards somewhere else dodging her move "spearow quick! It's behind you turn around and whirlwind!"

The whirlwind made Weezing stop from attacking spearow and gave her time to fly up
"Now! Aerial Ace!"
"Weezing use tackle!"

Both pokémons attacked each other and were sent back

"Now! Finish it with Shadow ball!"
"Spearow, dodge the shadow ball and actually finish it off with with another Ariel ace!"

Spearow went with full speed and power and attacked the Weezing

Thus, a smoke was created but it soon got away with Spearow clearing it up with whirlwind and the Weezing turned out to be unable to battle

"Weezing is unable to battle, Spearow won! This makes Y/N the winner of the match!"

"Yesssssss!!!" You yelled in happiness hugging the small bird
"She did it!" Ash and the others yelled in happiness as well
Teddiursa, Plusle and Pikachu who were in a cheerleading dress also did a cute lil victory dance "pi pika pi" "Ursa!" "' 'lusle!"
