Chapter 70: Goodbye

Finally after coming back to Twinleaf town after all the exciting adventure the entire gang went through for about an entire year, today was the day, the Kantonians will have to leave Sinnoh.

Dawn skipped down the stairs happily with Piplup, "Anyone knows where Ash, Y/N and Arlo are at?"
"Y/N and Arlo went out to the pokémon mart to buy some supplies and Ash is still sleeping" Brock informs.
Dawn smiled like a villain and decided to wake Ash up.

[With you and Arlo]

Spearow was resting in her ball, so was Arlo's pokémons and the two of you were on the way back to Dawn's house, after buying foods and medicines for the pokémons.

"Ah, I'm gonna miss Sinnoh so much" Arlo said
"Me too, Arlo. The adventure here was absolutely the best! I would never forget about it. I will miss Sinnoh a lot" you sighed
"True...Hey, Y/N, I forgot to ask, where's Barry? I thought he returned back to Twinleaf town, shouldn't we say goodbye to him before leaving?"

Hearing Barry's name made you stop walking.

'Oh yeah...Barry....' "You want to meet him one last time?" You asked
"Yeah! Absolutely! Please Y/N, can we meet up with him?"

You thought about it a bit.

You didn't wanted to see Barry nor Paul before leaving. Not seeing Paul will be easy as he's in Snowpoint, but Barry is literally in the same town as you're, and you don't even know his house! You might even be standing infront of his garden and not even know it, while he might stalk you from his window, which he won't, but still!

'I absolutely forgot Barry lives in this town, damn' "uhm, Arlo, uhh actually, I don't think it'll be possible because uhm-"

"What wouldn't be possible, Y/N?"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

You screamed on top of your lungs with a blush coating your cheeks, right after Barry appeared behind you out of no where.

"B-B-Barry?! What're you doing here?!"
"Barry!" Arlo grinned
"Arlo!" Barry high fived him and looked at you, "what do you mean by what I'm doing here? You're literally standing right outside my house!"

Your eyes widened in shock and you immediately looked at him house

'So what I thought was true?!' your mouth fell, 'Ash, Brock, Dawn, please save me-'

"Barry! We were just talking about you!"
"Really?!"
"Yeah! I was telling Y/N, that I wanted to meet up with you before we leave"
"Oh-wait! BEFORE YOU LEAVE?? YOU TWO ARE LEAVING TODAY?!"
"Barry calm down- and yeah, we are"
"Woah, I thought you'll stay for a few more days" Barry frowned, "I also wanted to see you before you leave..."

"Huh?" You looked at him in confusion, "you wanted to see me?"
"Y-yeah! Well I had to give you something" he blushed a bit, "BUT YOU WERE DECIDING TO LEAVE WITHOUT SEEING ME, SO IM FINING YOU FOR THAT!"
"DUDE-" you facepalmed, "Wait! Can we just talk at Dawn's house? I literally can't carry these heavy bags anymore"
"Huh?" Barry looked at the bags and immediately snatched then away from you, "go ahead, I'll carry these for you, lead the way, Y/N"

Arlo looked at you with a teasing grin, while you blushed and turned around, not wanting Barry to see you all red and started walking towards Dawn's house.

"Hey guys, I'm back-ASH?!" You gasped, as Ash and Pikachu screamed while falling from the stairs.
"Oh man" Arlo laughed
"What a way to start the day" Barry joked

"Oh hey Barry, didn't knew you were back in town" Dawn said as she skipped down the stairs, while you grabbed the bags away from Barry and took them to the counter.
