Chapter 60: To rescue the Legendaries

The day starts with You and Dawn watching the TV, where Marian reveals that the next contest will be in Daybreak city which will be a double performance.
Brock informs that it's in the way of Sunyshore City so Dawn can easily participate.

So while leaving, Pikachu, Piplup and Clefairy spots a injured Meowth who happens to be Team Rocket's and explains how they got inside the Fuego Ironworks which is the base of Team Galactic and wanted to save the international police lunch box guy, Looker, but got caught by the grunts still somehow Meowth escaped so the gang decides to help him out.

"Dig it out, they up ahead!" Meowth points at the numerous golbats coming to attack the hot air balloon.
"Pikachu, help us out"
"Pachirisu, we need you too"
"Staraptor, Gliscor, I choose you!"
"Spearow, Staravia, c'mon out too!"
"Plusle, help us out as well"
Pachirisu, Pikachu, Clefairy, and Plusle jumped on the flying types, ready to attack the huge army of golbats.

"Pikachu, use thunderbolt, now!" "Pachirisu, use discharge" "Plusle, use swift" "Clefairy use Metronome!" (Metronome released water pulse)
All the moves combined made the golbats faint but when Meowth was gonna land, another Commander appeared with Skuntank
"Skuntank use flamethrower!"
"Pipl-piplup!" Piplup came in the way and used bubble, creating an explosion.

The gang lands on the roof and the commander rants about the lake trio, before another battle starts but the commander soon escapes with the entire Team Galactic which gives everyone the time to free Jessie, James and Looker.

Without anything to do anymore, the gang went on with their chores for the day and went to sleep as usual until a certain dream.

You, Ash, Dawn and Brock were in a weird place where the three lake guardians showed up. Mesprit in front of Dawn, Azelf in front of you and Ash, and Uxie in front of Brock.

"I can't believe it that we're seeing the lake guardians!" You murmur
"Finally we get to see all of you" Dawn says
But I'm kind of wondering why you showed yourselves to all of us" Brock smiles curiously and the trio cries.
"Hey, what's wrong? Tell us" Ash intrigues
"Is there something you need to say?" Dawn asks and suddenly the trio turns around and a black light started to cover the entire place.
The four of you started to run along with the trio, but the black light was faster, and then it attacked the lake trio which was the last scene.

"AAA" Ash shouts and wakes up, he was sweating and breathing fast.
"What a dream, I just saw the legendary pokémon" Dawn says
"That shadow" Ash says
"I saw it too!" You response
"Did we have the same dream?" Ash asks
"Guys what're you talking about?" "Ursa..." "Plusle.."
"You didn't saw any weird dream?" Brock asks
"H-huh?" Arlo rubs his eyes and sits up "No, why?"
"Guys I think the lake trio are trying to communicate with us four, because we were the only ones who saw them!" You say
"That might be the reason!" Dawn gasps
"I still don't get what you four are trying to say!"

You tell Arlo that you'll explain everything in the morning and go back to sleep with the others doing that too.

In the morning, you tell him about the weird dream during the breakfast, until you and Ash feel sharp pain in the head, making you both drop the spoon from hand.
"Ugh"
"This pain...agh"
"Ash, Y/N, what's wrong?" Dawn asks
"Are you okay?" Brock asks
"I felt it"
"It's Azelf"
"You mean like the dream?" Arlo asks
"If that's true, then what was that dream?"
"Ah" Ash gasps and says that calling Professor Rowan might be a good idea

"I can't believe that you all felt something" Professor Rowan said
"I knew it, something did happen"
"Team Galactic and Pokémon hunter J have now arrived at Lake Valor. Gary is attempting to fiend them off"
"Gary Oak?!" You and Ash gasp
"So Team Galactic joined forces with J" Brock says as the screen shows J on Salamence
"And they're after Azelf"
