Chapter 21: Better luck next time!

The selection was over and it was a battle time already!
May fought against Harley
Drew was going to fight against another coordinator
Then you were going to fight against another coordinator
Same with the rest of the remaining people

May and Drew had a nice time defeating their rivals, now it was your turn, you started off with Kirlia and Dustox and your opponent had a pikachu and a Golem

"Let's begin!"
"Golem! Roll out! Pikachu thunder shock!"
"Kirlia! Dodge and Psychic and Dustox poison sting!"
Both dodged the attacks and did what were they told to
"Now! Kirlia! Psybeam and Dustox! Psybeam!"
"Golem get up! Pikachu! Quick! Use thunder shock and quick attack!"
while golem was getting up Pikachu just quickly attack Kirlia
"Now hit the Dustox with Iron Tail!"
"Don't let him hit you! Use Stunspore!and Kirlia! Shadow ball on Golem!"

"Golem! Pikachu! *steps back* Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Golem go and use Rock smash!"
"Double team! Both of you!"
Pikachu and Golem stepped back and looked at their trainer
"Pikachu! Hit all the clones out there! And Golem once you find the real one use Rock smash!"
Pikachu managed to destroy all the clones and the real ones were left out on the stage
"Now! Psybeam and Dustox, poison powder!"

"Times up!"
Both Dustox and Kirlia stopped and Golem along with Pikachu stood up from their defense poses
"The winner of this match is Y/N!!"

"She did it!" All your friends yelled out and the crowd started to cheer and clap for you and your pokémons

Returning the pokémons you ran back to the room meeting Drew on the way
None of you said anything just smiled and nodded and raised a hand while walking on the opposite paths and high fived
"You did great" He said out loud still walking on the opposite way without stopping
"Thank you!" You replied back and entered the room smiling
"Hey~~"
"Harley...huh- wait where are you going?"
"Outside...its kinda useless to be here and your battle is already over"
"It's not, I still have more"
"I'll be watching them from the spectators seat, don't worry"

Harley turned around and walked away from the place

"*whisper* Y/N! Run away! Your parents are here!" May whispered pushing you from your seat

"*points to two people* there"
"Shoot...thank goodness you told me, I was about to open this wig" You thanked and ran outside the place 'God help me please...Arlo is with Ash and the others...hope they are not spotted...even though I'm in Hoenn why am I still not safe?! "Row!" She nodded and got inside her pokéball while you went outside for a mini stroll

"Have you seen that who are you battling next?"

"It's Y/N?!" Ash and Arlo gasped in surprise

You were ready to fight your friend, and same goes for her too. You both were ready!

Battle started with May bringing out her Combusken and Skitty while you brought out Minun and Swellow

"Let the battle begin!"
"Swellow! Start with Ariel Ace! And Minun use Spark and create a barrier around the stage!"

Swellow didn't gave May any time to order and rushed towards Combusken who was in front of Skitty, meanwhile Minun created a eye-catching barrier where Swellow threw Combusken at and made him get electrocuted
