Chapter 28: Rocket Arc! (3)

2:30 AM.

"So the ball Lugia was captured in, is in their house in....hmmm" Archer said getting inside the room you and Lugia were kept in
"How do you know that?" Proton asked raising an eyebrow and fixing his hat
"Well, I may or may not have went with my old way of getting the words out of their mouths again" Archer said smirking

'Let me just get out of this place once, I swear to God that I'll beat this guy up' You thought clenching you teeth while squeezing Lugia's wings 'poor pokémon...'

"Hey you, girl" Archer said as you looked at him dead in the eyes
"What the heck do you want from me?"
"Hah, feisty one huh?"
"Look if you think that you can keep me and Lugia here for long then you're wrong" You got up startling Proton, while Archer knew that he just got challenged into a pokémon battle which made him smirk and grab one of the balls from his belt

You looked at him dead in the eyes before grabbing spearow's ball from your belt "Spearow, I choose you!"
"Houndour! C'mon out!"
"Spearow! quick attack!"
Houndour took the sudden hit and backed away a bit
"Houndour, use faint attack!"
"Spearow dodge and hit it with aerial aces!"
Spearow being faster, started to hit houndour repeatedly making it fall

"Houndour! Get up and use fire fang!"
"Spearow dodge that!"

Houndour started to run towards spearow and before she could dodge, it hit her with a powerful fire fang making spearow fall to the ground

"Spearow! Get up and use drill peck!" spearow weakly got up and flew up in the air before dashing towards houndour, attacking it with a drill peck
"Use flamethrower!"
"Heh?! Wait- spearow! Dodge it and use fury attack!"
"Hou-"

Before Archer could order suddenly the closed door behind him got locked and an emergency alarm started to ring

"W-what's happening?!" Archer yelled as he turned around to face the door
"I got no clue...maybe some intruders got in or any system failed?! Archer contact Ariana quickly"

You returned spearow and observed them 'maybe something bad is happening....i hope lugia won't be affected overall'

Before Archer could contact anyone, the metal door suddenly opened and a team rocket grunt got in.
"There is an emergency in the lab room and you both are being called by professor over there! Quick!"
"Ugh what do they want again....?! Hey you grunt! Keep an eye on her, make sure that she doesn't escape!"
"Yessir!"

Just as the door opened again you heard people yelling and banging on the doors in the corridors.

'It's just a mere grunt, if I manage to take them out then I would be able to escape but i have to risk keeping Lugia here and need to return here secretly' "hey you grunt-" Before you could finish the grunt hurriedly locked the door from inside and lifted his cap, only to reveal that it was James the whole time!
"James?! What are you doing here!?"
"I came here to save you"
"Wait! We are here too!" You heard the vent's door getting opened and meowth looking at you from there
"Meowth?!"
"Look twerp, we don't have much time, you have to follow this vent and get out of here quickly before they returns"
"Understood, but i have to come here again to save Lugia"
"We can make a plan for that later, but you need to escape now to save Lugia" James said as you realised that you actually needed to escape first then come up with a plan in a safe environment and gather the polices as soon as possible.
