By the time you entered the room, you saw the dark clouds' thunder directly connecting with Pikachu and Plusle's before Ash and Arlo tightly hugged them and jolted back on the ground when the clouds disappeared along with the thunder.

"Ash, no!" Delia knelt down beside her son.
"Arlo! You okay?" You asked, rushing by his side and helping him get up.

The lights came back and the surrounding was back to normal, which made Juniper and Oak go outside to discuss whether it was Zekrom's doing or not.

During the dinner, Ash told his mother about wanting to stay here and all, to which she revealed that she already knew it and it was a plan made by you as well.

"So Y/N" Ash's voice stopped you from walking towards the temporary room of yours
"What?"
"We still didn't get to know when and how you came to Unova" Arlo said
"Oh" you stared blankly at them, "and?"
"Seriously?" Arlo sighed
"C'mon Y/N! We want to know!" Ash whined

This was the fourth time they were asking this, first being when they first arrived, second being after the clouds were permanently gone and third being before dinner.

You managed to ignore them and walk away, but this time, you were completely stuck in an empty hallway with them with no excuse.

"Why do you guys even wanna know?"
"Professor Oak basically kept us on the edge! He said you did a lot of fun things after we left!" Arlo said

You felt a vein pop.

This was the first time you were mad at Oak, like c'mon dude!

"Well you see, nothing much happened, me and Dawn just did the photoshoot- oh and do you know that the magazine came out?-"
"Don't change the topic Y/N, we already saw it" "chuuu"
"Ugh" you were debating whether to tell Ash about meeting Paul afterwards or not. Surely you could tell it to Arlo, but not infront of Ash, after the "talk" you had with Dawn in Sinnoh. Heck you were already regretting telling Brock about it now. "Fine you see, after that me and Dawn went to Snowpoint for iceberg race and won it! I then looked through some magazines and discovered Unova. Then i contacted professor and he said I should go there as he's coming here very soon, and just because I was coming, he and Ash's mom planned to bring Ash here so all i had to do was call Arlo's mom and ask if she could possibly let him skip school and travel with me again because I knew Ash would definitely stay here and challenge the league" you confidently lied about the magazine part, hoping to tell Arlo about it later today.

"So you're the reason why my mom let me come here?!" Arlo gasped
"That's right" Oak said, coming near
"Professor!"
"You all should head to bed, after all three of you are leaving tomorrow!"
"Yeah, of course" Arlo smiled
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you something, Y/N!" He exclaimed suddenly
"What is it?"
"Well after Ash and Arlo came back to Kanto, Gary also arrived there the next day and was searching for you"
"Gary?" You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, "searching for me?" You glanced at Ash a bit, who huffed at the mention of Gary.

It's been ages since you heard his name or saw him. The last interaction you had with him was probably after the disbanding of Team Galactic.

"Mhm, he thought you returned to Kanto with Ash, but man you should've saw the look on his face when he found out you were staying at Sinnoh!" He laughed
"He could've just called me if he wanted to chat...was he gonna tell me something important?"
"Uhh" Oak thought, "I don't know, he never told me"
"Oh" you sighed and looked at Ash, whose arms were crossed and was pouting, 'I see how that is...'
