"Okay, cya soon!" F/N entered the class and went to F/N's other friends.
Sighing, you walked up the stairs, scared of anything which may come up and guess what? Something did happened.

You looked back to see a group of girls calling you, and not wanting to be rude, you walked over to them. "What?"
"How do you know Steve and Lancelot?!" The girl who called you yelled making you look at her with a wth face.
"Yeah! And also Rai and Leo?!" A girl with glasses said
"Oh c'mon, they're gay....no way in hell they'll accept you, shawty" another girl replied to her and gave a pat.
"Uhm...uhh....I a-actually met them last evening....?"
"HOW DID YOU MET THEM AND WHERE?!"
"BRO LOOK LET ME PEACEFULLY JUST GET TO MY CLASS??? I DON'T WANT ANY DRAMA!" You said running up the stairs ignoring their calls
"HEY GET BACK HERE!----UGH"
"Arceus....what'd I got myself into?" You sighed and got out of the class to roam around a bit before the assembly bell rings and immediately bumped into Cindy and Diana.
"Oh I'm sorry-" you apologised "i wasn't looking at my way"
"It's okay" Cindy smiled "say, you're class is in this floor?"
"Mhm, it's that one" you pointed at your class 'Cynthia and Diantha looks absolutely gorgeous from this close...even in this school dress....' You admired their features and started at them in pure admiration.
"So Y/N, are you maybe into this fandom called Pokémon?" Diana asked as the two looked over at you curiously
Your eyes widened in shock. 'wait so- first I met characters from pokémon and find out that they go to the same school as mine since Palkia knows how long, then learn that the school is obsessed over them and they're quite popular and still I never heard of them? Soon they befriend me and the next moment I know, Cynthia and Diantha are asking me if I know about pokémon or not?!'
"Uhm...." 'If I say yes....will something happen? Like they reveal they're from other universe blah blah blah...or what?' "yes! I'm into pokémon a lot! It's my favourite anime!" 'there goes nothing...'
Their eyes immediately narrows which made you freak out a bit "w-what..?"
"That means....It's a battle time!" Airisu out of nowhere popped out as the three girls came challenged you to a pokémon battle?! INFRONT OF THE STUDENTS?!
"H-huh?!"
"Three against one sounds pretty damn rude" you heard Rai or Raihan speak as he came with the other champions "might just join Y/N and battle you three too!"
"And me t-"
"Not you, you just over power everyone so shut up" Lance, Steven and Raihan said at the same time shutting Leon up
"Four against one sounds rough"
"Y/N isn't an experienced battler may I remind you, watching the series and playing games wouldn't make her strong, so it's pretty fair if you ask us" Steven smirked coming beside you and resting his hand on your shoulder.
"So let's show you all what we got" Lance smirked moving his cape away with a pokéball in hand
"You might just become the referee, Leon" Iris smirked taking out her pokéball
You just stood there in shock as a whole crowd covered the place "w-wait...WAIT! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!"
"No time to explain princess, just take your S/P [starter pokémon] out and start this legendary battle!" Raihan smirked taking his Duraludon out
"AN ACTUAL DURALUDON?! WHAT?!" Your eyes widened in surprise and mouth hung open seeing an actual pokémon in real life!
"Garchomp! C'mon out!" "Dragonite!" "Gardevoir!" "Metagross! Show them who's the best!" "Haxorus! Let's show them what we got!"
"W-wait a minute! what?!" They all looked over at you with eyebrows raised
"what's up Y/N? Isn't this what you always wanted? Battle with you S/P atleast once in your life time and tell it how much it meant to you?" Iris asked making you flinch
"How-"
"It might be an once in your life time moment Y/N! Do it!" Leon cheered for you from the side lines as you felt something in your pocket
It felt like a ball and it turned out to be a pokéball with S/P's type's symbol/name written on it in Japanese. (get it? In og series, when Ash was thinking to get a starter not knowing they were already taken, the balls kept in the case or whatever it was had their names written on it and Pikachu had a electric symbol on its ball, and it was cool 😾)(it's upto you if you want your S/P's ball to have its name written on it or its type)
"Take S/P out of the ball Y/N!" Steven encouraged you, and soon, you heard the crowd telling you to start the fight already.
You took a deep breath before speaking again "alright fine.....S/P! I CHOOSE YOU!"
And infront of you stood S/P on its knees before it slowly got up to its feet and looked at its opponents.
"S/P......"
"Begin!"
"Take down!" "Moonblast!" "Dragon rush!" "Dragon pulse!" "Earthquake!" "Thunderbolt!"
As the pokémons got ready to attack you stood there not knowing what to say. S/P looked at you which made you gasp a bit as it gave you a nod and a smile 'i don't know if it's real or not... but even if it's a dream, i won't have the chance to do it again....so...'

"S/P! USE YOUR STRONGEST MOVE....S/P/M!!!!"
"N/N! Get up!" You heard your mom calling you "N/N!"
You slowly opened your eyes and blinked a bit, adjusting the light before hurriedly getting up, realising what happened to you a bit before. You were covered in sweat and were panicking
"S/P?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!-"
You and your parents gave each other a confusing look
"It's my birthday?"

"The heck were you dreaming about?- and it's your birthday woman, you've become [age]"
"[Age]?! NO WAY I WANNA BE 10 AGAIN!" You stared at them in disbelief

'dad, are you serious?....i was literally trying to talk about... nevermiiinndddd thennn ugh'

You looked at your father before yelling "ITS A S/P PLUSH! HOW!?"
Your parents chuckled before leaving you hugging the plush in the room.
"So all of it was just a dream...?"
Sighing, you got down from the bed and stretched your arms before noticing something on the table.
Some of the pokémon figures you kept on the shelf was now at the table, and they all were somehow....
"What's my figurines doing here?" You mumbled to yourself and were about to pick them up before realising something. "A gardevoir, Duraludon, Metagross, Haxorus-" you gasped out in surprise realising all of them were the signature pokémons of the champions themselves!
"What kind of dream was I even in?"
