A week passed.

I haven't seen him since then. Not like I did want to see him. He didn't come to any races since then. Not like I'd searched for him either. But the truth was probably that people had forgotten about his race against K. It was a good thing, and I should do the same.

As soon as I got out of the shower my phone started ringing. Gym-freak calls the only success out of twelve. It wasn't a good sign he would have usually texted me a thousand messages or voice notes. This time nothing. I called him back while drying my hair with the towel.

"Come met me at the bar."Then he hangs up. I was perplexed, why so suddenly and of all places why the bar?

I arrived at the bar ten minutes later it wasn't far away from our neighborhood. The smell of smoke and alcohol invaded the whole place and it was quite hard to breathe properly. I started coughing and my eyes were tingling from the excess smoke. Although I managed to get in and saw Joshua sitting near the counter with someone else who I couldn't quite make out. He waved at me and I walked in his direction then sat right next to him.

Ash. He was him sitting next to me. How did he get to meet Joshua?

"What do you want ?"

I asked with an aggressive tone.

He laughed before answering me.

"It won't be easy, I see. Let me get this straight then. Race me." He was waiting for his answer. He must have prepared everything in advance. I doubted he is that of a maniac. What does he want?

"What are you talking about?"

" Oh don't play innocent..." He teased me with his smirk. Why me?

"You told him..." I shouted back at him.

"No. But you just did." He raised his glass to take a sip.

No one was supposed to know that.

" So you were keeping things secrets hm? "
Joshua asked trying very hard to keep a straight face.

"No I didn't want to it's..."

"Alright, I am not mad. I am glad that you aren't as boring as you seem."

I felt relieved that he wasn't mad. But Ash would pay. I won't let it slide off that easily. I accepted his challenge.

"When and where ?" I replied

"Tomorrow at 9 pm."

"OK." End of the conversation.

He offered to shake hands I hesitated for a moment then agreed to do so.

"If I win I don't ever want to see you again."
I added.

"Oh really? If I win..."

I didn't let him finish his sentence and agreed. There were only two options tonight. Either I win or he loses.

9 pm.

We arrived at the parking spot. It was empty. The immense amount of space there made me feel a lot smaller, I move uncomfortably in my seat. There was no light, excellent for one of the multiple buildings on the West.

"Nervous ?" Joshua asked while raising his eyebrows.

"Me? No. Easy win." We get off the car.

They were no other possible outcomes from this match. I have the biggest advantages here. I've already seen him race. I am winning. No discussion.
