Zaki's POV

"Gosh! You look so gorgeous!" Papuri ni Natnat pagkatapos niya akong ayusan. I stared myself in the mirror, wala namang nag-bago, i still look the same, the difference is... i have colors on my face. Hindi ko feel ang kagandahan tonight.

Absent si Miss-Professor Felicity, sabi ni Sammy hindi niya din daw alam kung bakit. I sighed, hindi ko alam kung bakit malungkot ako eh, dati nga wala naman akong pake kung sinong Professor ang nandyaan para mag turo samin.

It feels different on Miss-Professor's absence.

"Come on! Cheer up you beautiful fella! You look so down, ayaw mo naman mag kwento." I sadly smiled at Natnat through the mirror, napa-buntong hininga na din siya at hinawakan niya ang magka-bilang balikat ko. She softly carressed it with her thumb.

"Is it about your parents?" I met Natnat's gaze before shaking my head.

"No, i'm fine Nat, i'm just nervous... "

I'm going to a party tonight, in behalf of my family, it's a formal party actually, it's held by Mr. Benitez at their Manor, it's a birthday celebration, my parents are still on the US for my brother, i hope they come soon.

Even though they don't really miss me,

I missed them

"It's just a party don't stress yourself so much!"

Just a party?

It's actually not about the party.

It's about my surname.

"Good evening Mr. Benitez,my name is Zalleilia, i'm here in behalf of my family, Happy Birthday, my parents asked me to send their regards to you" i greeted Mr. Benitez bago ko iabot ang regalo ni Dad para sa kanya.

"Oh! Are you Luke Raymonds daughter? You have a beautiful name" Mr. Benitez asked, nasa entrance kami ng bahay niya, we're standing there with other guests.

"Yes po, and thank you po"

"You look like your Father and Mother combined that's why i assume that they are your parents, but Luke never told us that he have a beautiful daughter, what do you think, kumpadre?" Bumaling si Mr. Benitez sa katabi niyang nakangiti habang tumitingin sakin.

"Oo nga, ikaw ba'y may nobyo na? Ipapakilala kita sa anak ko, siguradong magugustuhan ka niya." Masayang turan niya sakin.

I shook my head saka nahihiyang ngumiti sa kanila.

"Wala po akong boyfriend, gusto ko pong mag focus sa studies ko po kesa unahin ko pa po ang mga ganyang bagay." Malumanay na sabi ko,

"How old are you na ba, hija?" Tanong ng isang ginang na katabi lang ni Mr. Benitez.

"I'm 20 years old po, i'm studying Pre-Med on Willford University" magalang kong saad,

Sa totoo lang naiilang ako kasi dumadami ng dumadami ang nagtatanong sakin, they're asking if i'm really Luke Raymond's daughter, my father never introduced me on his business partners it's always my brother who he always brags about.

No wonder they don't know me.

They are asking things like they are interested in me, hindi na ako nagulat nung nagsimula na silang mag reto ng mga anak nila sakin, hay nako! Kagandahan ko nga naman.

They are bragging their sons in front of me, the awards they are recieving and how handsome they are, lalo na ang mga panganay na anak nila, some of them are here, nakikipag kamay lang ako at ngumingiti.
