I'm just the best friend in Hollywood movies who only exists to continue the story.
I looked around the bar that was filled with drunk people, my best friend went off and started flirting with guys. I sat at the bar sipping my drink slowly. My eyes connected with a beautiful man and smiled at him which he returned.
He walked toward me "hey, my name is Joe"
"Y/N" I said back while smiling
"lovely to meet you," he said
Joe sat down on the stool next to me and ordered some drinks we started to talk more before y best friend joins us.
"hey handsome what's your name?" she asked
"Joe" he told her
They started to flirt with each other while I awkwardly sat there wanting to die.
it's funny when I think a guy likes me
I sighed before standing up and started to walk away knowing they wouldn't notice if I was gone. God, why couldn't I be like her?
