The Weather had grown a little warmer as Spring was soon coming to an end, which meant Summer was on It's way which exited everyone as break was coming, but before that Dire Crowley had everyone gather in the lecture hall for an Important meeting about some exams that were coming up before the summer break, which meant everyone had to hunker down and focus on their studies during this time which in some people's cases was easier said than done. which meant you and Lizzie would study together In the evenings to help each other out, as you always helped each other but for some reason lately you found Lizzie was different, and you asked her if something was wrong but she said it wasn't your business, so you left It alone.

It was a free day on campus so you headed off to visit your boyfriend, and see what he was upto but you did worry about bothering him at first, but upon coming to Diasomnia you headed to his bedroom to hear him playing his violin inside and that made a smile come to your face

you then knocked on his door, "Malleus It's me"

the music stopped, and In a few seconds Malleus was at the door as he opened it with a smile

"My Rose, you're here"

he brought you into his room as you then embraced in a hug, before you shared a loving kiss 

you smiled, "Playing the Violin?"

"Yes, I've been a bit out of practice lately"

Malleus put his arm around your waist, "but now that you're here, I'll play especially for you"

"I'd like that" you said

a gentle smile coming his face as he caressed your cheek, before you went to go sit down as he picked up his Violin once more and prepared the bow, then beginning to play with grace as you listened to the melody that you'd never heard before but it was very beautiful 

you closed your eyes as you listened more, and a smile came to Malleus's face as he saw you were enjoying it which made him all the more motivated as he continued, and when finished you clapped for him happily as he gave a slight bow if the head. Malleus then put the Insturment away, and came to your side as you sat together on his bed as he put his arm around you

you rested your head on his shoulder, "Malleus"

"Yes?"

you looked up at him, "I was reading something the other day and It reminded me of that time you told me you could fly...I've always wondered what It's like"

Malleus gave a nod, "I see..."

Malleus started thinking before he turned more to you, "would you like to see them"

"hm?"

Malleus smirked, "My wings, would you like to see them"

you nodded as there came a twinkle In your eyes, he then stood up as he guided you out onto his balcony and there he told you to stand back, you did as told as he took off his uniform jacket and he flexed his back as you saw two stubs sprout through his uniform, but then....

a pair of dark feathered wings sprouted from those stubs, and you looked on in awe at his wings, you then walked over to him and gently touched his left wing, It was very soft and plush 

"Would you let me show you what it's like?"

Malleus held out his hand, and you smiled with a nod as you took his hand but then he swiftly swept you off your feet, into a bridal carry as he leapt up onto the balcony rail

"Hold on tight My Rose, you're safe with me I promise you"

you smiled, "I know, I always am"

Malleus smiled warmly and pressed a kiss to your brow, you wrapped your arms around him, Malleus then guided his wings to start lifting him into the air slowly but surely, but then he took off quickly away from the dormitory and you shut your eyes tightly as you felt the wind beating against your face, but then It settled down

Malleus nuzzled your forehead, "you can open your eyes now"

you slowly opened your eyes to see you and him surrounded by clouds, above the dark and always gloomy ones that you'd always seen there was now the colors of orange and pink

It took your breath away and you looked to Malleus with an excited smile, "It's amazing!"

Malleus gave a chuckle, "Indeed, I often like to fly when I wish to clear my head"

Malleus then started flying once more as his wings beat against the wind, It was like another world to you above the clouds and It was like a world of your own, you then reached up to let your hand run through a cloud as a smile started coming to your face

you then looked up to Malleus, "It's so wonderful...I've never seen anything like this"

you kissed his cheek, "being here with you like this...It's like a dream"

Malleus smiled lovingly, "but It's not a dream my love, and even If It was It'd be one only for us"

you felt your heart flutter at the new pet name, but then you started thinking about something

"Darling"

Malleus's eyes widened, "What?"

you giggled, "you always call me your rose, now I know what I can call you"

Malleus's cheeks grew dark as he felt as if he was falling for you all over again, and he held your hand with care in his own as he brought it to rest over his heart, and you melted into his touch

Malleus then looked you in the eye, his heart was so full "I love you"

you smiled and brought your forehead to his, "I love you too"

Malleus tilted his head a little as he joined your lips together In a kiss that conveyed all he felt for you, and your heart swelled with reciprocated love just as strong.
