After telling Malleus the news of your Pregnancy he sent you back a letter telling you his delight, and also worry but you assured him that he'd be a great father after all he'd learned some from Lilia, and speaking of Lilia he'd returned for a short visit to see how things are at home In Brair Valley to which It seemed the time for your own coronation was drawing ever closer. you were now four months pregnant but you weren't showing, which meant you could keep It secret a little longer before letting the news get out, Lizzie was very excited to be a soon to be auntie while you were Indeed excited to be a mother to which you'd been reading on lately. being away from Malleus was especially harder now and he was thinking of a way to come see you matter of fact, to which the best opportunity to see you was coming and that was your anniversary but he also had something very Important he'd wanted to ask you about for many days now.
It was in the Afternoon, you'd just come from having tea with your Mother but you'd opted for a fruity drink rather than tea as drinking It wasn't good to do during pregnancy but she didn't suspect a thing. you had been craving for more things with fruit In them though and eating certain fruits was good and nourishing for the baby which you'd also read about
as you walked through the hallways alone, you brought a hand to your stomach "I miss your father so much...I hope he remembered what today is"
just then you heard a tapping on one of the windows which made you look, you looked to see a bird tapping against the window with what looked like a letter In it's beak
you furrowed your brows and went to go open It up, the bird perched on the ledge as you received the letter opening It to see nothing but then a letter materialized from the air

The Letter soon disappeared as It engulfed in green flames, a smile came to your face as you then touched your stomach again as you caressed It gently where your child grew inside. Your attention was soon taken back as you saw Lizzie as she'd been looking for you a while
"(Y/n) what're you doing? It's a chilly close the window you know what the doctor said" she said
you closed the window back, "I remember, I only wanted to walk around a bit I'm not too heavy yet"
you continued to walk around as Lizzie followed you along just to be safe, and as the day continued on you thought of your soon meeting with your love with made your heart flutter happily. you were excited for Malleus to also meet your child In person at last though your stomach hadn't grown much just yet but It was nearing your fifth month
once It had gotten to be sundown you'd put away the book you'd been reading, putting on something warm as you headed quietly out of your bed as you went into the hallway. Then quietly walking through the castle as you made your way outside into the chilly air
you looked around as you let out a breath, just as you saw some guards which made you quickly go out of sight as you snuck to the gardens In the back of the castle
just as you paused to see Malleus standing as he held his staff, a bright smile came to your face
"Malleus"
he turned to see you as a smiled warmly, his emerald eyes giving a soft glow In the darkness as he quickly came to meet you as you embraced each other. he then touched your stomach softly
"Is it really?"
you smiled with a nod, "Yes, It's true"
Malleus smiled again as he held your hand to his lips kissing it, "Thank goodness...I'm so happy My Rose,"
he rubbed your stomach tenderly as he could indeed sense your growing child inside, not In form of an egg like he was long ago but human growing baby that would soon be coming
Malleus brought you close, "Come,"
you nodded as he put his cloak around you all the while you walked together, just as Malleus helped to warm up your hands within his "I apologize for asking you to meet me outside like this but It's the only way I could see you"
"I understand"
you hugged him, "I've missed you so much"
he caressed your hair, "As did I my love, but I'm here now"
you smiled as you felt tears start to come to your eyes a little bit, "I still can't believe we'll be having a baby"
"I feel the same way, this is truly...a blessed thing" he said
Malleus parted from you, "And I'd like to add one more if I could...."
he released you as he then got down on one knee, a gasp coming from your mouth "Malleus..."
"I know Rose Queendom needs you as you're to be it's queen, but I need you as well...all I want In this world is you and now our child to be by my side forever,"
Malleus took out something It was a beautiful black ring with a diamond In the middle,

It looked to be a flower and was incredibly beautiful, just as you felt tears escape from your eyes
Malleus smiled lovingly, "I never thought It would kneel before anyone other than Grandmother but...here I am on bended Knee, asking if you will marry me"
you nodded as you felt overcome, "Yes...Yes I will...!"
Malleus slid the ring onto your finger before you rushed forward into his arms, kissing him as he was taken a little bit by surprise but he happily returned the kiss elated that you said yes.
