You and Lizzie were soon rushed to the Hospital within Sage's Island, with the both of you being put in critical care and as Malleus rushed to follow you he was soon stopped by Lilia, who told him that you would be fine but he didn't heed his words as he went ahead anyway along with the rest of the Heartslabyul students including Riddle. Many of the students who were injured by Lizzie during her overblot were treated at the scene while you both were sent away quickly, all the while Malleus waited in the hallway with Riddle and Lilia he couldn't keep still, but Lilia tried his best to keep his ward calm but he knew It was difficult for Malleus right now, as for his own injuries to him they were superficial as you took the main priority In his eyes.

you lied on the hospital bed, In a pale gown while attached to an Iv with your cuts and the like already wrapped up. your neck hadn't been broken or snapped so you'd for sure live but there were marks from the vine's that would remain there for a little while before fading away

Lizzie was unresponsive but she was hardly injured at all, except for the the bruises she'd gotten from Malleus defending himself with his magic, so there was no way to know when she'd wake

After the Doctor saw you and finished taking the vitals, he stepped into the hallway 

"Prince Malleus, Mr. Rosehearts"

Malleus rose quickly, "Is she alright?'

"Yes, her highness has quite a few injuries to recover from but she will be fine...as for Princess Lizzie she still remains unresponsive"

Riddle nodded, "I see, Thank you...The headmaster will be by shortly to sort out th-"

The Doctor shook his head, "No need, their medical bills will be payed by the Rose Queendom"

Malleus excused himself as he went into the hospital room, over to your bedside as he carefully sat down there then taking your hand In his as he gave it a squeeze

he whispered, "My Rose..."

his eyes quivered as he saw you like this, he started wishing that he'd done more to protect you earlier but he knew he shouldn't blame himself too much. but even so....

"M...Malleus?"

his emerald eye's widened as he saw you starting to rouse, he came closer "My Rose...yes It's me...I am here"

you started to open your eyes more, as your vision started to clear up as you saw him before you clearly which made a smile come to your face "Malleus...."

Malleus brought your hand up to his lips, "Thank goodness...."

he pressed a few kisses to the back of your hand, "How do you feel?"

you shook your head, "Hazy and Dizzy but...I do feel some pain"

your eyes then wondered down to your arms and legs, seeing they were bandaged up along with your neck and It were any worse you'd probably look like a mummy right now 

you wanted to sit up but he stopped you, "Lay still my love, you musn't strain yourself now"

you laid back down as you squeezed his hand, "Malleus...are you alright...how's Lizzie?"

Malleus looked over to Lizzie's bed on the other side of the room, she was still comatose 

"She...is unresponsive but her vitals have been checked, she will live"

you sighed In relief, "Thank goodness...."

Malleus started, "Did you get through to her?"

you nodded, "I believe I did...that's why she stopped and I felt her....hug me"

you then felt yourself starting to tear up, and you looked Malleus In the eyes 

"......"

he cupped your cheek's before he pressed a tender kiss to your forehead, "I'm here"

he positioned himself on the bed again as you then embraced each other In a hug, all the while you cried into his shoulder as he comforted you. just as Riddle came into the room

looking on to you both with a heavy heart, as his gaze then went to Lizzie's state 

Riddle took In a breath, "To think this would happen again...."

just then he noticed Lizzie started to move, and he went over in surprise to see her waking up as she shot up in the bed which made him taken aback "Lady Lizzie? how do you feel"

Lizzie looked to Riddle, she then threw off her blankets as she struggled out of the bed 

"Dorm Leader Rosehearts...."

she bowed, "I'm sorry....I'm sorry for what I did to you"

Riddle shook his head, "Please do not bow to me, I know what you've gone through...not In that way but I've overblotted before"

"No that's no excuse and...If you want me out of Heartslabyul or even Night Raven...I'll go home"

Lizzie then hobbled over to your bedside, "(Y/n)....."

you and Malleus broke apart In shock to see her already awake, but then she launched herself onto you as she hugged you tightly "you're like this because of me...I'm so sorry, my jealousy poisoned my heart and my mind It made me do terrible things to you!"

"I wasn't being like an older sister should at all! I don't know if...if you can ever forgive me"

you hugged her back, "I do...I forgive you Lizzie and I'm sorry too for not telling you the truth about all those years ago"

Lizzie parted, "N...No! That's all water under the bridge, I didn't like that young lord too much like I thought I did"

tears were running down her cheek's, she then turned to Malleus "And you...I'm so sorry for what I've done"

Malleus let out a sigh, he then placed his hand atop her head "You are Sincere I can see It in your eyes...It's never easy to forgive something like you've done but...I will for my Rose"

Lizzie smiled, "That's good enough!"

You sat up as you hugged Lizzie again, just as a few of the Heartslabyul students came that being Ace, Deuce and the other underclassmen who you were close with. asking if you were okay and they even fawned over Riddle before he told them to give you all some privacy 

Lizzie went back over to her bed, as to relax all the while you lay within Malleus's arms not needing to say anything more as he was relieved that you'd be alright.
