In the Night Chap.36

Two days later....

In the last few days In Brair Valley you'd made so many wonderful memories with Malleus and the others, you had plenty to tell Lizzie and your dorm mates in Heartslabyul such as the day when Malleus took you around in the city personally for a tour, It was wonderful and you got to see how the people of Brair Valley went about their days and it was a very charming city too. You'd even shopped for something to bring back for Lizzie, Riddle and your other dorm mates In which Malleus suggested Brair Valley's specialty tea which they'd all be able to enjoy together, It was a great idea and the tea leaves would last quite a while as they were magic as well.

It was In the evening and you'd just returned from having dinner with everyone, now going to get settled for the night you already changed into your nightgown and were now brushing out your hair. Earlier Queen Maleficia had told you many stories about Malleus in his childhood from her perspective rather than Lilia's, It wasn't that much different but he still felt embarrassed 

you giggled to yourself as you remembered, just then there came a knocking on your door 

"Yes? come in"

Lilia popped his head inside, "Still awake I see, I came to tell you something"

you smiled, "Oh, come in Lilia"

"Thank you but I came with a message from Malleus, It's the last night you'll be here In the Castle so..."

Lilia snickered to himself, "He's really too adorable sometimes, too embarrassed to ask you himself"

"What is It?"

Lilia smiled, "He'd like you to spend the night with him In his room"

you were a tiny bit surprised, but you smiled "alright, I'll go In a second thank you for telling me"

Lilia chuckled, "You're welcome, goodness...I don't know what might happen In there tonight but all I ask is that you two mind that everyone else is asleep"

"What do you mean by- oh my, Lord Lilia shame on you!"

he laughed some more, "Sorry...Sorry I tease, but her Majesty asks so as well"

you blushed as you hid your face, but then you put down your brush and went to put on a robe over your nightgown as he apologized some more but you stopped him 

"It's alright...now It's really late, goodnight Lilia"

he smiled, "Good Night and...Bless the night"

Lilia soon disappeared with those final words, you then went to put out the candles in your room before you soon left while closing the door behind you. You then walked a little ways down the hallway that was lit by green flames torches until you arrived at Malleus's bedroom 

you felt nervous but were happy, you then lightly rapped on the door "Darling"

inside Malleus had too just finished preparing for bed as well as your arrival, "Come In"

you opened the door to see him, you then came further inside as you closed the door behind you to see Malleus had gotten another few pillows for your comfort 

"I was waiting for you, I hope you didn't mind me asking Lilia to...."

you smiled, "I didn't, It's alright"

Malleus walked over until he stood before you, "It's the last night here and we've never shared the bed before...It's one of the things we haven't done as lovers"

"It is,"

he held out his hand to you, and you placed your hand into his as he walked you over to his very large bed with more than enough room for two, It had beautiful black embroidered blankets and as Malleus released your hand to sit on the bed you took off your robe to set aside 

Malleus got into the bed and moved over as he lifted up the space for you, you smiled as you took off your slippers and got inside next to him as he soon enveloped you In his arms 

you closed your eyes as you felt his warmth, "hm....."

"Did Lilia say something to you" he asked

you blushed "well"

you came close and whispered into his ear telling him what Lilia had said, which made Malleus not react for a minute before a blush spread across his face "I see...goodness"

"To be honest...I've been feeling nervous ever since" you confessed

Malleus smirked, "I know, I can feel how fast your heart is beating right now...and I can see that lovely red color upon your cheeks"

you turned away from him as you blushed again, but he caught your cheek and turned you to look at him as he closed In with you sharing a tender kiss but then Malleus got naughty 

he started to kiss your neck and even pretended to bite down there, his eyes glinting

you gasped, "!!!!"

he chuckled and backed off, "Fear not my rose, I wouldn't bite you...I'm not one of those creatures"

"Oh...Malleus don't tease me like that" 

Malleus chuckled some more, "I'm sorry, will you forgive me?"

you couldn't be upset at him ever or for long, you smiled "all's forgiven"

he laced your hand with his as he kissed the back of It, you then shared another kiss as Malleus then brought you to rest against his chest as he ran his hands through your hair gently. Malleus then found himself humming a tune, It was one he'd remembered hearing even when he was inside of his egg and afterwards when he was a baby, even sang It to Silver once long ago but he didn't know who originally sang It but It always helped one relax and dream peacefully

he smiled lovingly as he opened his eyes, "Goodnight...My Rose,".
