A Confession Chap.21

In Diasomnia after making many attempts to get Malleus to open the door, Lilia just transported himself inside with magic In which he found his ward at the window, just peering out of it

"Malleus?"

he went over to stand by his side, "Are you still sulking?"

Malleus looked to him, "No...was I wrong?"

Lilia sighed, "you were too bold but not wrong, though things could have been handled better than that you should've outright told her how you feel, but instead you physically did"

Malleus looked back out the window, "she was crying...I didn't wish to make her cry...did I drive her away from me"

Lilia grabbed his arms and brought him to look at him "Malleus, she was overwhelmed and probably didn't know how to feel but that doesn't mean she hates you now"

"but-"

"No buts about It Malleus, now tell me how she makes you feel" 

Malleus's mind wondered to you and he smiled "She...makes me incredibly happy, she understands me like no one else has and I've never met anyone like her, she's Inspired me and opened my eyes to things I never thought about before...and I want"

his eyes gleamed, "I want to by her side...I want to protect her and hold her close...I want to kiss her like I did before"

Lilia smiled, "Well then why don't you go make It clear, apologize and tell her"

Malleus's smile became softer as he gave a nod, Lilia gave a few pats on his arms before Malleus started out of his room hurriedly all the while Lilia felt himself tear up

"he's grown so much...I couldn't be more proud"

Malleus started out of Diasomnia despite Sebek asking and wanting to accompany him, In which Lilia quickly told him and Silver to let him go alone as he had something Important to do, and nothing could stop him now as he was on his way to look for you and make It all clear.

after you left Rook you found yourself on the main street where the main seven stood, looking around hopefully to find Malleus there but you didn't, you felt your brow furrow In disappointment as you now knew you had to search elsewhere but then...

*Drip*

*Drop*

you felt water on your face and looked up, just as It started to rain upon you with the sky becoming cloudy and darker, you tried to shield yourself as you started walking away,but then you felt the rain wasn't over your head anymore, and you looked up to see there was a magical shield covering your head, you didn't cast out any magic so you didn't know why but then you felt a familiar presence, bringing a hand to your heart as you turned around...to see him

Malleus now drenched In rain like you were, "Are you alright"

you nodded, "y...yes"

he walked until he reached your side, his cheeks were red "There's something I...need to say"

you felt your cheeks become warm, "I do too...but you can go first"

Malleus prepared himself, "Okay, about the other day I'm sorry about what I did...It wasn't my intent to make you cry"

"Oh It wasn't your fault It was...mine" you said

"I see...I kissed you because I wanted to convey how I feel about you"

you felt your heartbeat quicken, "Malleus...what're you saying"

his emerald eyes gleamed, "I've fallen In love with you...and If you'd let me I'll be by your side, I've never felt strongly about someone before until I met you...you're truly amazing"

your face flushed, but you looked him In the eye "Malleus...I feel the same way, I'm...I've never fallen In love before but I am now...and It's with you"

a gentle smile came to his lips and he took your hand In his, placing a gentle kiss atop It

"Then...would you be with me? may I call you mine and I yours..."

you smiled warmly as some tears came, "Yes"

he brought his arms around you and you hugged him back, all the while the rain continued but then Malleus parted from you a little as he cupped your cheek "May I...kiss you again"

you breathed, "Yes..."

you got on your tip toes to meet him as he pressed his lips to yours, and you kissed back as Malleus deepened it a little but still kept It gentle as he held onto you closely, but soon you parted and looked Into each other's eyes as you had smiles on your faces

but then Malleus removed his uniform jacket and put it around your shoulders, to your surprise It was dry for some odd reason but then he swept you off your feet into a bridal carry 

you blushed, "M...Malleus? what're you doing"

"You'll catch cold if you're out here any longer, come I'll take you back to the dorm"

you relaxed and rested against him as you smiled bashfully "alright"

Malleus then carried you back inside out of the torrential rainfall, and to Diasomnia where you sat side by side near the fireplace though Malleus was fine, he worried about you the most and asked Sebek to bring a blanket which he quickly did 

Malleus then brought It around the both of you and he put his arm around you

"Is this alright"

you smiled, "mhm"

he came closer and brought you to share the blanket, and you rested your head on his shoulder In which shocked Sebek who wanted to go break you away from him

"L...Lord...Malleus?"

Lilia pulled him away, "Enough, they're together now let them be"

Malleus rubbed your shoulder, "Are you warm enough If not I can make the fire hotter"

"Oh there's no need I'm alright...in your arms I am" you said

Malleus smiled and brushed some wet hair from your face, "I'm glad"

your hands then found each other's as you laced your fingers together, but then Malleus brought your hand to his lips as he pressed a warm kiss there, and it made you start to giggle but then you turned to face him as he pressed a tender kiss to your forehead, you hoped this was real

"Malleus...if this is a dream I hope I'd never wake up" you said

Malleus squeezed your hand, "It's no dream, this is a reality...I promise (Y/n) I'll never wrong you or make you cry ever again"

you scooted closer to him and rested your head against his chest, and he enveloped you fully in his arms as you felt the rise and fall of his warm chest while you closed your eyes.
