You Followed Queen Maleficia through the castle, all the while she'd asked how you came to meet Malleus so you told her the whole story but upon hearing the time Malleus kissed you out of nowhere, she couldn't contain her laughter saying that he still had much to learn as she let out a cackle which resounded throughout the castle 

when she'd finally calmed down, she started "I see...quite the love story you share"

Queen Maleficia halted her steps, "You know...I was In love once, with a human"

you were surprised, "Really?"

"Yes, but...little did I know at that time that men's hearts were selfish and cruel but I was but and for a time I did believe that Humans and Fae shouldn't Integrate worlds...I'm sure you know of the wars we used to have with humans, I hated them and my daughter especially did"

you nodded, "Yes, The Silver Owls...the Dawn Knight I know it all"

 "You're quite learned, but...I soon changed my thinking especially after my daughter and son In law died which left me waiting for my Grandson to hatch. There's been enough bloodshed between our two races...and as Malleus grew up at my feet I taught him that he should come to understand Human's, not see them as the enemy In which...I'm very happy I made that choice but for a time I couldn't get through to him but Lilia did"

she smiled, "and...to be honest, when I found out he loves a human I was not surprised at all but I was happy that his heart had changed so much"

you soon came to one of the Castles guest room's, just as she'd held onto your hand's

"Please, Continue staying by his side (Y/n)"

you nodded, giving her hand's a squeeze "I will, I won't ever leave his side"

Maleficia smiled again, "Good, now we've arrived this is where you shall stay during your time here, your luggage was brought but do let one of the servants know if you need anything...I hope you enjoy your time here and the ball of course"

you smiled with a nod, she then summoned her staff once more and released your hands as she started away down the hall. never In your life did you think you'd meet one of the great seven, she was Indeed Intimidating and gave off an aura of great power but she was kind too

you went into the room, as you saw there was a chandelier inside that was lit by candle and you went over to look at the bed. It was very grand with beautiful embroidered blankets, the curtains were closed so you went over to part them as you saw there was a view of the moors beyond the capital, the room was lovely to you and you hadn't a complaint at all as you put away your things just as there came a knocking on the door, "Yes, come in?"

the door opened, there stood Lilia "There you are, how was your talk with Her Majesty"

"It was Good, Her Majesty is very understanding"

Lilia smiled, "Good, It seems she's taken to you right away"

just then Malleus stepped inside, "My Rose,"

you smiled, "Oh, Hi Darling"

"Would you like to stroll with me In the woods?" he asked

"I'd love to"

you then went to put on your coat and scarf again, as you then headed with Malleus out of the castle as Lilia then had an Idea which he went to go rope Silver and Sebek Into. you walked through the Garden's with Malleus as he told you how beautiful they'd be come spring

"The Roses I've planted here were seed's from Grandmother, In the spring and summer they're quite the sight to see."

you smiled, "Oh, I'd love to see It one day"

Malleus smiled and squeezed your hand "You need only ask when the time comes"

you leaned into his touch as you continued through the pathways together, before you left the Castle grounds to wonder into the wood's together which was like a snowy wonderland to you

 "Malleus...It's so beautiful here"

you went away from him a little as you did a spin, and he looked on fondly thinking It was cute as he then went to your side as you continued walking together just as you spotted some deer 

you quieted as you looked at them, but then the deer started coming over to the both of you. Malleus was taken aback as animals usual fled at the sight of him, even more so when It sniffed his gloved hand but he kneeled a little as he gave it's head a little stroking 

you smiled as you looked at the sight, just as the baby deer nestled up to you some more and you coddled it as you gave it some pets "you're so sweet"

"Animals usually run away when they see me...so why?" said Malleus

you turned to him with a smile, "I'm sure they know how kind you are, Animals can sense those things"

Malleus smiled, "I see, hearing this from you...I believe It"

he gave the deer another few pets, before the two of them left to continue on looking for the tree's with good bark It seemed. not too far away up in the tree's Lilia was observing 

as you walked you'd nearly fell but Malleus quickly caught you, and you then rested your head against his chest as he enveloped you more within in his arm's 

"With you My Love, I truly feel as though I'm no monster" 

you looked up at him, "You've never been a Monster Malleus...Ever"

"I know, I used to think It was that way deep down especially when people would run away from me, but all those months ago...you didn't, you never did"

you smiled warmly, getting on your tip toes as he brought you into a loving kiss but when you were about to kiss again you heard a commotion, seeing Sebek throwing snowballs at Silver

"Take this! And this!"

Silver ducked and dodged them, "!!!!"

you exchanged a smile with Malleus, just as Lilia dropped down from the tree he was just in as he gestured you both to come have fun. In which Malleus stayed behind to watch but you went ahead as you joined in the snowball fight which was great winter fun

you laughed as you ran away from Lilia, but he'd landed some snowballs on your back as you tried to escape. you stopped and picked up some snow to throw back at him 

"Oho! fighting back now I see, let's see if you can handle this"

Lilia used his magic as he created a bunch of snowballs, which you quickly rushed away from but then one of them Accidentally hit Malleus In the face for which he was taken aback by 

"Lord Malleus are you alright! shall I call the Physician!" Yelled Sebek

Malleus let out a huff of air, he then lifted his hand's as green mist emitted and a huge pile of snow fell atop Lilia which made him start to chuckle a little. as Lilia dug his way out soon

you giggled and threw a snowball at Malleus, before ducking behind a tree In which he was confused about where It came from but he'd seen you hide after the third shot 

Malleus then smirked, "Oh?"

you thought you were safe as you hid behind the tree, giggling to yourself but then as you moved to get another one Malleus caught you as he picked you up into his arms. you laughed as you admitted defeat before you wrapped your arms around his neck as he then kissed you.
