Water and Iron

Iron POV

I fire my palm blasters launching my Koda variant away. I get to my feet as they turn into water.

Koda: "I am Koda of the water. I shall drown you in the depths of despair."

Iron: "It just had to be water."

I ready my blasters. I fire a barrage of blasts but they go right through Koda.

Koda: "You'll have to try harder than that."

Iron: "Shut up."

I take flight gaining some distance.

Iron: "We got anything in inventory that can take someone like this down?"

S.A.M: "An earlier model of the palm blasters. But I'll need some time to ready them."

Iron: "How much time you need?"

S.A.M: "Three minutes."

Iron: "I'll see what I can do."

Koda: "Come down here."

He wraps a watery tendril around my ankle yanking me onto the ground. I fire a blast that destroys the tendril. Now free I fly behind Koda delivering a right hook. It's however absorbed by his body. He rearranges his features facing me.

Koda: "Was that supposed to do something?"

Iron: "This."

I release a grenade from my wrist. I then withdraw my arm gaining some distance. In the clear the grenade goes off consuming Koda in light. When the light subsides nothing remains of him.

Iron: "It couldn't have been that easy."

Water is formed from thin air. It then transforms into Koda.

Koda: "How astute. So long as there's moisture I can regenerate."

He turns his arms into water swords. 

Koda: "What will you do now?"

Iron: "Please tell me you're ready S.A.M."

S.A.M: "Blasters ready."

I aim my blasters at Koda.

Koda: "Your puny light won't work."

I smile under my mask.

Iron: "Who said I was using light?"

I unleash two beams of fire that make their way to Koda. He scrambles into the dirt to avoid my attack.

Iron: "No you don't."

I shove my arms into the dirt.

Iron: "S.A.M, crank power output to eighty percent."

S.A.M: "Copy."

I unleash hell as fire is blasted into the ground. Fire geysers erupt further scorching the land. This forces Koda to materialize in the air.

Y/N: "I'm not done."

I aim my hand at the sky. With a blast I send a pulse into the atmosphere. It goes off instantly making the area hotter. This makes Koda fall onto the ground. I walk to him aiming my blaster.

Iron: "Give up. You lost."

Koda: "I shall never lose."

I fire at his arm. I smile when his arm doesn't regrow.

Koda: "How?"

Iron: "The temperature's at ninety eight and rising. The ground is scorched beyond repair. I have eliminated all sources of water."

Koda smiles.

Koda: "You were a great fighter. May you continue to grow."

Iron: "I shall remember our fight."

I fire my blaster engulfing Koda in fire. Lowering my hand I see nothing remains of him. Turning around I take flight towards the others.
