New Recruit

Faunus POV

We finally come to a stop. I let go bowing while kissing the ground.

Faunus: "Oh sweet ground. I'll never take you for granted ever again."

Man: "Not a fan of flying?"

I look at him.

Faunus: "Only when doing so at freaking light speed."

Man: "We were actually going mach one and a half."

Faunus: "Still too freaking fast."

I finally get to my feet seeing my snowy surroundings.

Faunus: "What're we doing in Atlas' tundra?"

The ground rumbles. Something then rises out of the ice. My eyes widen seeing an actual spaceship.

Faunus: "Woah."

The door opens as the man holds out his hand.

Man: "After you."

I head inside. I admire the technology when I see the man lower his hood to see he's actually just a kid.

Faunus: "You're younger than I thought you'd be."

Kid: "Thanks, I guess."

Faunus: "So what is all of this?"

He explains everything. By the end my brain tries its darndest to process it all.

Faunus: "So you mean to tell me you're an alien from another freaking planet?"

Super: "Pretty much."

Faunus: "I've always wanted to meet an alien. Kinda bummed you're not green though."

Super: "Contrary to media. We're mostly the same as you in terms of appearance."

Faunus: "Fascinating."

Super: "Now it's your turn to answer my questions."

Faunus: "What do you wanna know?"

Super: "Who are you? And where did you come from?"

I explain everything to him. He's shocked to say the least.

Super: "There's more than one Remnant?"

Faunus: "Yep."

Super: "And you need my help saving them?"

Faunus: "That's about it."

He thinks. He then smiles holding out his hand.

Super: "You have the indestructible hero on your side."

I shake his hand smiling.

Faunus: "Welcome to the team."

We break when a portal opens. I look and go wide eyed.

Iron: "Hey."

Faunus: "How'd you guys find me?"

Y/N: "Well..."

*meanwhile Y/N POV*

I groan getting to my feet. Looking around I see nothing but the woods.

Y/N: "Where the heck are we?"

Amica: *appears* "How the heck should I know? I don't recognize a single scent."

Y/N: "Well we definitely in the woods.

Amica: "No shit Sherlock."

Y/N: "I vote we get higher. See if we can spot any recognizable landmarks."

Amica: "Good thinking."

I crouch before leaping high into the air. Landing on a branch I'm graced with a nice view of the surroundings.

Y/N: "Alright let's see. Lots of trees. So forest. And if those're pine then that must make this the Evergreen Forest. Meaning Vale shouldn't to far."

I look up as the sun.

Y/N: "Little past noon."

I look to the right.

Y/N: "Meaning that's West. Which makes Vale that way."

I look forward and begin leaping from tree to tree. 

Amica: "So what're we gonna do when we get to town?"

Y/N: "Search for this world's hero. See if they have an ability that might help us find the others."

Amica: "I hope it works."

After half an hour we finally land on the edge of Vale. I then walk down its streets.

Y/N: "It's so weird."

Amica: "What?"

Y/N: "Being in a place like this."

Amica: "How so?"

Y/N: "Well it's almost like an exact copy of our world. But at the same time it's not. We know no one here. Even the people we do know."

Amica: "Sounds confusing."

Y/N: "Kinda. I'm actually still trying to comprehend that there's other worlds besides our own."

Amica: "Eh. Not all that far fetched if you're open to of that."

I look upwards.

Y/N: "You've been smoking again."

Amica: "I thought you were asleep."

Y/N: "I was. I only know because my dreams got weird."

Out of the blue the sound of gunfire fills the air. Amica envelops me as we leap towards the source. Landing on the street we see a robber go flying through the window. The front door then blows open as someone walks out. My eyes widen.

Amica: "Iron?"

He turns waving.

Iron: "Fancy meeting you here."
