Different Remnant

Faunus POV

I look all around as lights fly by. I pray to Oum when the sky returns. I turn around seeing a city coming into view. When I get close enough I fire a web strand which attaches to a building. When the line goes tight I swing in an arch. Exiting I backflip safely on a water tower. I then look around.

Faunus: "I highly doubt this' my Remnant."

I look down seeing people rushing through the street.

Faunus: "Least this' a human world."

I leap down onto the street. Then walking down I eye everything.

Faunus: "Everything looks to be about the same. But like John said. Each Remnant has a point which distinguishes them. Wonder what this one's is."

I walk past a building when a tingle runs down my spine.

Faunus: "Crap."

I backflip as a van speeds where I just was. Landing back on my feet I see the van run a red light. 

Faunus: "Lawbreakers. Great."

I attach web strands to the back of the car. With a tug I pull myself towards the van. As I land on the roof I discard my clothes getting into my costume. Pulling down my goggles I peek my head through the sunroof.

Faunus: "You know you're supposed to stop on red right?"

Passenger: "Who the hell is this clown!?!"

Driver: "Who cares, waste him!!!"

I withdraw my head as the passenger pulls a machine gun. I stick to the side of the van as bullets are fired. When they stop I look through the window.

Faunus: "Big mistake."

I leap getting some distance. Then firing web strands at the side I pull. I crash through the door instantly taking out the back right passenger. Now in the van I have a gun aimed at my face. I lean back as the bullets exit the van. 

Faunus: "Missed me."

I fire a web strand at their face. I pull them to me where I punch them out cold. A tingle runs down my spine. I double kick the passenger seat sending it forward. The passenger slams face first into the dash getting knocked out. 

Driver: "Damn hero."

He aims a pistol at me.

Faunus: "You should really keep your eyes on the road."

I roll out of the van as it crashes into a street light. The driver crawls out before trying to make a break for it.

Faunus: "Oh no you don't."

I fire a web strand hanging him from the street light. I receive applauds when I hear a voice.

Voice: "Nice work."

I turn seeing a man in a hood hovering above the ground. 

Faunus: "Thanks."

Man: "Hope to see you around sometime."

He flies away. But I narrow my eyes.

Faunus: "I feel as though he's important."

I leap swinging after him. I reach him swinging alongside him.

Man: "Hello again."

Faunus: "Are you the hero here by chance?"

Man: "I am. Why?"

Faunus: "I need some help."

He stops as I latch to the side of a building.

Man: "With what?"

Faunus: "It's a long story. Mind if we go somewhere private?"

He places his hand on his chin.

Man: "Yes. Follow me."

I leap clinging to his back.

Man: "Why?"

Faunus: "In case we need to go over an ocean."

He tilts his head.

Man: "Fair enough. Just hold on tight."

I tighten my grip. Near instantly we break the sound barrier flying away.

Faunus: "Maybe this was a bad idea!!!!!!"
