Speed POV

My eyes shoot open with a long gasp escaping me. Sitting up I see the others waking up. We all then get to our feet.

Amica: "Is it over?"

I look around when my eyes widen.

Speed: "Over there!!!"

We run to John's body.

Super: "Is he?"

I feel his neck. I hang my head.

Speed: "He is."

The others become sad.

Iron: "He died saving reality. We need to make sure everyone knows what that."

All of a sudden purple smoke flies out of John. It then spirals before forming into an ethereal being with Deus' appearance. We all narrow our eyes.

Faunus: "When will you learn to just die?"

Deus: "I will never die. Not until I have completed my goal."

Amica: "Just give up. You're just a ghost. You cannot do anything."

Deus: "So you think. All this does is make my job easier."

Iron: "What job?"

Deus: "Bending all of life to my will."

He laughs before dispersing.

Super: "This isn't good. We need to find him."

Rider: "But that'll be next to impossible when he could quite literally be anywhere. In the entire multiverse."

I finally speak up.

Speed: "I think I know where to find him."

Rider: "Do share with the class."

Speed: "Earlier, when John was bringing us here. I looked to the side and saw something."

Super: "What did you see?"

Speed: "A tree."

They all deadpan.

Iron: "A tree?"

Faunus: "How the heck does a tree help us?"

Speed: "Just trust me. Something's special about it. I can just feel it."

Amica pats my back.

Amica: "Things were moving pretty fast. But if the guy who can outrun time said he saw something, then I vote we follow him on this one."

Rider: "Well. It's not like we have a lot of options. Let the kid lead."

Everyone joins my side.

Iron: "We'll follow you kid. But are you sure you can get us there?"

Speed: "Yes. Just grab ahold of me and don't let go."

They each grab ahold of me. Meanwhile I close my eyes and speak internally.

Speed: "I know we don't always get along. But just work with me this one time. Please."

I open my eyes and quickly vibrate my body. Everyone matches me as we soon evaporate into thin air. We zip by various worlds but I don't see that tree anywhere.

Speed: "I know I saw you. Where are you?"

I increase my speed. The worlds fly by much quicker with the speed increasing by the second. After five seconds all the worlds fly by so fast they seem to become one.

Rider: "Slow down kid or you'll-"

He's cut off by everything around us shattering into glass. I cease all movement as we just float.

Amica: "What's that?"

He uses a tendril to point. We look to see that tree which's glows a heavenly white.

Speed: "The tree. There it is."

We all use our power to move towards the tree. As we get closer the tree starts to grow. When close enough we land on sand. Then looking up we see the true size of the tree.

Amica: "This thing's the size of a planet."

Super: "Wonder what it's purpose is."

???: "To support life."

We look forward and grow furious.

Speed: "You."

Deus: "Fancy meeting you here."
