Too Fast

3rd POV

Nero eyes Speed with fury starting to set in.

Nero: "You're gonna be a problem. So you're first."

The five heroes rush at Nero. He smiles limboing under Faunus' right hook. With a kick he's sent flying into a pillar. With a twist Nero's spared from a blast by Iron. Grabbing Iron's wrist he swings him around before slamming him onto the ground. 

Super: "Left yourself open."

He delivers a powerful left cross. But Nero redirects his hand into Amica's chest. He smiles when a backhand sends him stumbling back. He looks at Speed who raises his fists.

Nero: "Bring it."

He zips to Nero as a lightning bolt. He relaxes using his ability. But to his shock he's struck across the face.

Nero: "What the hell?"

He delivers a right kick. But Speed twists avoiding his attack. Nero goes on the defensive. He uses his ability but again it's useless as his ribs are struck by a left hook. Nero goes to attack but he's struck this time by a headbutt to his nose. He stumbles back grabbing his nose. His eyes narrow seeing his own blood.

Nero: "What the hell's with this kid? Why can't I get a read on him?"

Speed zips away as Super delivers a right hook. But Nero dodges avoiding the hit. He twirls as a blast of light hits Super in his chest. Going into a limbo he's spared from Amica's double bladed bone axe. This makes the axe cut Faunus' chest.

Nero: "I can read them like a book. So why the hell am I getting nothing with him?"

He looks at Speed who's already in his face with left knee heading for his ribs. He's struck getting robbed of all his air. 

Nero: "Little bastard."

He throws caution to the wind and goes crazy, desperately trying to hit Speed.

Iron POV

I shake myself alert looking around. I then spot Speed who's effortlessly dodging and hitting Nero.

Faunus: "How's he doing that?"

Iron: "I don't know."

Super: "You think he found a way around Nero's ability?"

Amica: "It seems that way. But how?"

We stare in awe at Speed. Nero screams in anger when he's kicked away.

Nero: "What's going on!?! Why can't I block any of your attacks!?!?"

Speed: "What's wrong, getting upset?"

Nero: "Tell me how you're doing this!!!"

Speed: "You read minds don't you?"

We all look at Nero.

Nero: "That's right. Most of the time I can hear people's attack plan. But for some damn reason all I'm getting from you is static. So answer me, why is that?"

Speed smiles.

Speed: "I have inhuman speed. Naturally to handle it my body moves at the same speed. This kicks everything into overdrive."

Nero: "English."

Speed: "My thoughts are too fast for you to read."

He crouches down as Nero bares his fangs.

Nero: "Stupid smug asshole, I'll read your thoughts one way or another!!!"

3rd POV

Nero cranks his ability to the max. The others scream in pain as their minds are drilled of all their thoughts. Nero smiles but becomes furious seeing Speed smiling.

Nero: "Quit smiling!!!"

He runs at Speed in a blind fury. But to no one's surprise Nero comes nowhere close to hitting Speed. With each miss Nero's fury becomes greater and greater. When he's ready to blow a gasket he screams in anger.

Nero: "I demand to hit you!!!!"

He pushes his ability well past its limits. He blocks Speed's foot forming a massive smile.

Nero: "I can hear you."

Speed delivers a right hook but has it caught by Nero.

Nero: "No more misses."

Blood drips down his nose. After three drips it starts a steady stream. This makes Speed widen his eyes.

Speed: "You need to calm down, before-"

Nero: "Silence!"

He's kicked away. But Speed recovers sliding to a stop. He then goes on the defensive trying to block Nero's attacks.
