True Power Unleashed

Speed POV

John smiles. He then finally gets to his feet. Closing his eyes he deeply exhales. The lights in the lab flicker. Streams of otherworldly energy soon manifest before heading to John. The lights then finally shut off, coating the place in pure darkness.

Iron: "John?"

He soon opens his eyes. Upon doing so nothing but light come flooding out. The lights come back on revealing John to be surrounded by a heavenly white aura.

John: "Let's go. Time is against me."

Faunus: "Do you even know where Deus is?"

He nods. We all begin floating. The world fades away as this invisible force blows past us. I shakily look to the side to see countless worlds flying by. But for less than a fraction of a second I see what I swear is a solid white tree. We then arrive at a land surrounded by fire. At the center we find Deus.

Deus: "You lot healed fast."

John: "You won the first round Deus. But I can assure you, you will not win this one."

Deus: "Guess you didn't learn the first time."

He smiles.

Deus: "Fall."

All of our energy leaves us, dropping us to the floor. But looking up I see John standing tall. My eyes begin drooping. They finally close as I fade into sleep.

3rd POV

The heroes fall into slumber. But John stands firm making Deus' smile weaken.

Deus: "You've gotten stronger."

John: "I have."

Deus: "Then this fight should be interesting."

John vanishes from sight. Deus holds up his hand which catches John's left hook.

Deus: "Repel."

An unseen force hits John. But that aura shimmers, keeping him stationary. He spins his body, kicking Deus in his face. He slides back before feeling his nose. He smiles seeing specks of blood. He turns back to John, widening his smile.

Deus: "Finally, a fair fight. Enhance."

His body glows allowing him to zip to John. He delivers a kick only to have his ankle grabbed. John yanks Deus to him only to send a right hook crashing into his jaw.

Deus: "Burn."

John's body erupts into flames. But once again the aura shimmers, making the flames dance around his body. John raises his hand. The fire swirls into his hand before condensing itself into a miniature sun. John launches the sun at Deus who manages to catch it. He then reels back his arm.

Deus: "Darkness."

The mini sun is engulfed in darkness, getting into a blackhole. Deus tosses the blackhole at John. He goes to catch it when it explodes, consuming all. The world cracks apart sending everyone hurtling through the multiverse. John encases the heroes in a bubble when he's socked in the face by Deus.

Deus: "Left yourself open. Withdrawal."

John's soul is evicted from his body. But not being deterred his soul reaches into Deus' chest. Then with a tug Deus' own sou is torn free. Both bodies go limp when Deus' soul wraps its tail around John's soul's neck. Deus' soul then opens its mouth.

Deus: "Devour."

Slowly John's soul is consumed. But it makes vines sprout out and puncture Deus' soul. It screams, breaking its feast. John's soul manages to break free and send a storm of meteors at Deus' soul.

Deus: "Erode."

The meteors evaporate into smoke. But that's when John's soul tackles Deus' soul. They crash through glass landing on a prehistoric world. John's soul punches Deus' soul. The impact changes them to their bodies. John hits him again with the impact this time changing the world around them to a different one. John keeps punching Deus with each hit sending them to different worlds.

Deus: "Enough!!!!"

He unleashes a purple beam that launches John away while also changing the world back to the world they started in.

Deus: "I've had fun. But it is time I took my throne."

He narrows his eyes.

Deus: "But first. I must deal with you once and for all."

He puts his hands together.

Deus: "This'll cost me. But it'll be worth it."

He focuses all of his attention on John.

Deus: "Complete subjugation."

His body spirals into purple energy that forces itself into John's body. He drops to his knee, holding his stomach. The heavenly aura flickers before slowly petering out. John falls to his hands and knees, heaving and hacking.

John: *out of breath* "No... you... don't."

He puts his hand over his heart. His hand is covered in the aura. His throws his head to the heavens and screams with Deus' voice being mixed in with his. That aura reappears but is now half purple and white.

John: "This'... the last time... you control... someone."

The white half of the aura fully takes over. This makes John finally stop screaming. His eyes then go white as he falls onto his face.
