The Tree

Speed POV

We all narrow our eyes seeing the ethereal Deus.

Deus: "I must say heroes. You lot are very persistent. And color me impressed. I never would've thought a mortal would ever be able to set foot here."

Faunus: "What is this place?"

Deus: "This' the edge of eternity . And this beautiful thing right here, is the Tree of Reality."

We all look up at the massive tree.

Deus: "Beautiful isn't it? Every world ever created, woven into each branch. Some end, but others grow and eventually splinter off. And those go on to intertwine with other worlds. Those worlds then sprout into new worlds to begin the cycle again. Every world, in the entire multiverse, represented by this tree."

He stares down at the trunk.

Deus: "And birthed from the seed of life."

3rd POV

Deus makes a break for the foot of the Tree. He begins phasing into it when various attacks hit him. But he smiles as they only pass through him. But his smile is stopped when a chain wraps around his left arm. He looks back to see Rider holding the chain.

Rider: "No you don't."

He begins pulling. However Deus uses his superior strength to continue phasing into the tree. But he's fully stopped. Looking back he spots every hero using their own move to latch onto the chain.

Rider: "Pull!!!!"

They all tug the chain. Deus is slowly pulled out of the Tree. He screams, trying to bypass the heroes' strength and fully enter. But he's ultimately yanked out. He eyes the heroes with nothing but malice in his eyes.

Deus: "Damn heroes!!!!!"

He sends out a powerful burst of air. The heroes are launched back and towards the void. Amica slams his claws into the sand. Then sending out three tendrils he catches Speed, Faunus and Rider while the other two heroes float in place.

Faunus: "How the heck are we supposed to fight something we can't even touch?"

Iron: "How should I now?"

Rider: "I have an idea."

He unleashes a pair of gray wings. A similar colored glow surrounds him. That glow then manifests on each of the heroes. Back at Deus we see him once more entering the Tree. Holding out his hand Faunus fires a web strand at Deus. It hits his back and anchors him in place.

Iron: "Alright boys. Let's end this asshole."

They heroes all launch themselves at Deus. Faunus fire a web strand at Deus while Amica uses a tendril; both attach to Deus' back. Both heroes pull, yanking Deus away from the Tree. Iron holds out his arm and fires rockets at Deus. They explode which sends him flying towards Super. His eye sockets glow orange as he unleashes a condensed beam of fire dust.

This flings Deus towards Speed. He catches Deus by the throat and quickly runs in a circle. He then tosses Deus to Rider who catches him and slams him onto the ground. Deus unleashes that burst of air which launches Rider towards the heroes. Deus stares at them.

Deus: "This ends now."
