( Charmaine goes to her room and shuts her door. Her phone starts ringing.)
Charmaine: dries her tears and answers the FaceTime) hi daddy
Jacob: hey baby girl! How are you? How's my grand daughter ?
Charmaine: we're okay (sighs) where's back in Georgia. Mom's job was able to relocate her back
Jacob: what's wrong Charmaine ?
Charmaine: nothing
Jacob: you been crying haven't you?
Charmaine: daddy I'm okay.
Jacob: tell me what's wrong ?
Charmaine: I was misbehaving and mama yelled at me
Charmaine pov: my dad is in the army. He's stationed over seas so it's been a long time since I seen him. I miss him a lot and I wish he was home. I wanted to tell him so bad what's been going on but if Reggie found out I told somebody he would hurt my daughter and I don't want anything to happen to her. I stayed on the phone with him for about an hour before hanging up. Then my phone rung again and it was my stupid ass baby daddy. He must have found out I was back in Georgia.
Charmaine:(answers ) what do you want Kj?
Kj:so when was you gone tell me you was back in Georgia ?
Charmaine: how you find out?
Kj:just seen ya mama at the gas station. She said y'all back for good
Charmaine:yeah we are
Kj:so send me the address so I can come see my daughter
Charmaine: don't come over here on bullshit Kj
Kj: you the one that be starting shit, send the address
Charmaine:(sends it to him) you better hurry up
Kj: I get there when I get there
15 minutes later:
Reggie: who you inviting over ?(sitting on the couch )
Charmaine: don't worry about it ( opens the door) come in
Kj: wassup up girl ! (Smirks)
Charmaine: shutting the door behind him) hi Kj
Reggie: ya mama say you can have company ?
Charmaine: bro Reggie shut the fuck up talking to me !
( Charmaine and Kj go to her room)
Kj: (frowns )what's that about ?
Charmaine:(sighs) nothing Kj
Kj: he putting his hands on you ?
Charmaine: here's your baby (picking the baby up)
Kj: he putting his hands on you char? Yes or no?
Charmaine:sighs) a few times, I'm okay though
Kj: oh hell no, I'm finna go fuck him up
Charmaine: no no Kj please don't you'll make things worse (stepping in front of the door)
Kj: I can go handle him
Charmaine: Kj I'm okay, please chill out. I don't have no where to go if I get put out
Kj: you can come stay wit me
Charmaine: Kj we not together. We didn't work out because you're a cheater. I'm not going back through that wit you. I just need to stay here a few months until I can get enough money to move
Kj:(sits in the chair) man gimme my baby
Charmaine: hands him the baby) dont get mad at me because you fucked up
Kj: a Nigga in love wit yo ass and you don't see that shit
Charmaine: you cheated on me 3 fucking times Kj! You have a whole baby with one of them bitches. I took you back all 3 times and you said the same thing each time. You don't love me at all
Kj pov: I'm Keith Jackson Jr but everybody calls me Kj. I'm 22 years old and Charmaine my baby mama. We grew up on the same block and shit like that. She a good woman though, I just fucked up bad. I'm grateful for her letting me be in my daughter's life though, my other baby mama rarely lets me see my son and that hurts. I sell drugs all across the United States. I got that paper flowing in from left to right and I ain't gone ever stop.
Later that night:
Kj: come here gimme a hug (pulling her closer to him)
Charmaine: let me go Kj(rolls eyes)
Kj: you know you love me ( kissing on her ) stop being so mean
Charmaine: whatever helps you sleep at night
Kj:smirks and lifts her chin up kissing her slowly ) you sure you don't love me ? Hmm?(feeling on her booty)
Charmaine:(looking up at him) you not slick (trying not to smile)
Kj: (picks her up) ain't tryna be, you know you got a soft spot for a nigga (smiles)
Charmaine pov: there I go falling for Kj again. He laid me in the bed and one thing led to another. He put it down for sure.
1 hour later:
Charmaine: (coming out the bathroom) you need to go home now
Kj: you ain't gone give a Nigga a good night kiss and tell him you love him ?(raises his eyebrow)
Charmaine: laughs) man come on damn (kisses him) I love you
Kj:I love yo lil ass too( smiles)
(They walk downstairs and to the front door)
Kj: good night baby mama( opening the door)
Charmaine: good night Kj
Charmaine pov: I don't know what it is but I do still have a soft spot for Kj. It could be because we got a baby together and I'm so grateful for her. Although me and him will never be together again, I do got a little love for him.
