Misty: I am so sorry bestie

Charmaine: crying) I can't believe my dad is gone . I just talked to him yesterday, he said he was coming home

Oliver: rubbing her back) he's in a much better place than we are. I know it hurts but it's gone be okay

Charmaine: he told me he was coming home (crying harder) he promised !

Oliver pov; me and Misty were at Char's house be cause we found out her father passed. It was so sad seeing her cry. We stayed with her for a few hours before we left. I felt so bad for her.

Charmaine pov: once Misty and Oliver left I got myself together and then drove to Kj house so I could pick up Chloe. I couldn't believe my dad was gone. He had been sick the last few weeks and yesterday he said they are gonna medically discharge him from the army and now he's gone. This shit sucks. I've been back on Coke since I found out he was sick. I've been doing it so much to take the stress away. It makes me feel good.

Kj: opens the door) wassup mamas

Charmaine: I need a drink, you got something ?(walking in)

Kj: it's some Hennessy in the kitchen cabinet, what's up?

Charmaine: my dad passed this morning (walking into the kitchen)

Kj: damn Char I'm sorry , you holding up okay?

Charmaine: not at all(grabbing the liquor and pouring herself a drink) I just talked to him last night. He said he was coming home. 6 this morning my grandma called me

Kj: I really am sorry , I know it hurts

Charmaine: Chloe ready ?

Kj: I texted you saying she was still wit my mama

Charmaine: well that's cool, roll up. I gotta go to the bathroom

Kj: you gotta go upstairs to my room. The bathroom down here still being renovated

Charmaine: shit, all them damn stairs

Charmaine pov: I went upstairs to Kj room and started looking for his stash. I needed a fix so bad right now. I was all out of my stash and couldn't get in contact wit Rose for more. I finally found two dime bags. I went into his bathroom and did a few lines and it's like my problems were slowly going away. I used the bathroom and cleaned all my mess just to make sure it wasn't no traces left and went back downstairs. I've been craving coke since my dad first said he was sick. I hate to be back on it but it helps. Nobody understands what I'm going through. It makes me numb to the pain. Man this shit finna have me gone.

Kj pov: me and Charmaine sat on the couch and watched some movies and smoked. She was high as hell though. We talked for a while until she fell asleep. So I picked her up and carried her to my room and laid her down in my bed. She need to sleep it off.
