Kj pov: baby mama been in rehab 3 months now and today she was able to have visitation so I was gonna go so she could see Chloe. We got there and signed in. They had to search me and the diaper bags just to make sure I ain't sneak nothing in and then her nurse walked me down the hall to her room.
Nurse Hailey: hey Char you have some visitors
Charmaine:(smiles) hi my baby !
Chloe: reaching for her )
Charmaine:(takes her and kisses her multiple times) mommy missed you so much pretty girl
(The nurse leaves out and they sit down on her couch)
Kj: how you holding up?
Charmaine: I'm straight, it's so tough, I crave the drugs a lot, but I'm tryna be strong. hopefully I can get released soon. Misty found an apartment for me.
Kj: that's good
Charmaine: thank you for bringing her (playing with the baby)
Kj: you're welcome.
Charmaine:(sighs) my life so fucked up right now. I never expected to be on drugs
Kj: Char we gone get you better . You in the process of getting clean. You gone be straight ( pulling her into a hug)
Charmaine: tearing up) I just feel so lonely, I already lost majority of my friends when I got pregnant but the way my mother was treating me fucked me up. I feel like I ain't got nobody.
Kj: you got Misty and you got me. I'm always gone be here for you. You know I got mad love for you always
Chloe:(looking up at Charmaine)
Kj: Chloe give ma ma a kiss so she feel better
Chloe:(kisses her )
Charmaine:(smiles) thank you baby girl
1 hour later:
Charmaine: thank you for coming
Kj: you welcome (hugs her ) I love you girl (smiles and kisses her)
Charmaine:(smiles) I love you too Kj
Charmaine pov: it felt good having a visit from Kj and my baby girl. It really lifted my spirits and seeing Chloe gave me that push I needed to get clean and get out of here. About 30 minutes after they left my nurse came and told me I had another visitor and it was Oliver.
Charmaine: hey, surprised to see you
Oliver: Misty couldn't get off work her boss giving her a hard time and I just wanted to make sure you got a visit from one of your friends, I got you these flowers
Charmaine:(taking them and sits them on her table) thank you they're beautiful, have a seat
Oliver: you're welcome (sits down )
Charmaine: wow, we rarely had time to get to know each other, these few months been crazy
Oliver: yeah it has, but I'm an open book so whatever you wanna know just ask
Charmaine: besides being a church boy what else you do?
Oliver: laughs) church boy wow, but I play football and I'm in college to become a music engineer. I can paint and draw really well
Charmaine: wow that's so dope, we college you at ?
Oliver: Georgia state
Charmaine: oh okay, not too far, you like it?
Oliver: yeah it's pretty decent
Charmaine: how long you been friends with Darius ?
Oliver: that's my home boy we go way back to babies
Charmaine: wow y'all real solid, you don't find too many friends like that now days.
Oliver: yeah these friendships rare, Misty ya ride or die for real. She love you so much. She was so excited when you came back
Charmaine: that's my sister for real, she always got my back and she the only friend that didn't switch up on me when I got pregnant. We used to stay getting in trouble as kids (laughs)
Oliver: laughs) partners in crime huh ?
Charmaine: most definitely
