End of service:
Charmaine pov: I was the talk of the day. A lot of the elders of the church where whispering and talking about me throughout the whole service. I already feel like I'm not good enough for Oliver but damn they been tearing me down even more.
Miranda: ( walking over to Oliver ) Oliver Shaw (smiles)
Oliver:(smiles) Miranda Greenwood, how you been ?
Miranda: I've been good (hugs him) How about yourself ?
Oliver: I'm doing real good, I finished school, I'm engaged and got a baby on the way
Miranda: shocked) wow that is amazing, congratulations!
Charmaine: walking over to them) sorry to interrupt, you got the keys ? We'll wait for you in the car
Oliver:yeah(pulling the keys out) Miranda this is my fiancé Charmaine and step daughter Chloe. Bae this is my childhood friend Miranda
Miranda: hi nice to meet you
Charmaine: nice to meet you too
Sister Deb: walking over to them) ohh so nice to see you two talking. Oliver didn't you miss her, you two dated for what, 5 years ?
Miranda: mama !
Oliver:(sighs) sister Deb please
Charmaine: so this is your Ex ?
Sister Deb: she's in law school now, and she has no kids or drug addictions. You two should try and make things work
Charmaine: wow...
Charmaine pov: I went out side and saw Misty and Darius standing at their car next to ours. I felt the tears rolling down my cheek. I was so hurt and embarrassed and ready to leave.
Misty; woahh, what happened why you crying char ?
Charmaine: unlocks the door) I'm just ready to go ( strapping Chloe in)
Darius: Char what happened?
Charmaine: the whole fucking church been talking about me today! Every time I turn around some body mentioning my drug addiction or saying I'm not good enough for Oliver as if I don't tear myself down every day saying he deserves some one better. To make matters worse I just met his fucking Ex and her mama tryna get them two back together. I'm so fucking over everything !
Misty:(hugging her ) hey hey calm down please. You don't wanna stress yourself and they baby out. Forget what they say. You know Oliver loves you to death. You know he only wants you
Darius: exactly, you and Chloe the only thing that's ever on his mind. He so crazy about you
Oliver: sighs) thanks a lot sister Deb !
( Oliver comes out to the parking lot and over to them.)
Oliver: bae I am so sorry I swear I am
Charmaine: can we just go home please ?( wiping her tears )
Oliver:no tell me what else happened today and I'll go handle it right now
Charmaine: them old bitches and the rest of this shady ass church. All day everybody has constantly been whispering about how I was an addict and you deserve someone better than me and that I'm using using to play daddy to Chloe ! I never once asked you for shit ! That shit hurts cause I already feel I'm not good enough for you.
Oliver pov: char was extremely upset. She broke down crying and I pulled her into a hug and tried to calm her down as best as I could. Once she was okay and told her to get in the car and then I went back inside. I was extremely pissed off. A lot of our members were still there so I went and got on the mic.
Oliver: can I have everyone's attention please ?
Gregory: you got an announcement son?
Oliver: I sure do, everybody listen up. I will not tolerate y'all disrespecting my fiancé. I don't care what y'all heard about her y'all don't know half of what she's been through. So all this whispering and gossiping is about to stop today and I mean it.( puts the mic down and leaves out)
