Oliver pov: we walked in the room and my heart sank. My mother laid there underneath the cover as if she was still asleep. She looked so peaceful. I sat by her side and held her hand and cried so hard. Charmaine rubbed my back and supported me. We stayed about 5 minutes before I couldn't take it anymore and had to leave out.
Charmaine: my condolences Greg, she will be missed so much (hugs him)
Gregory: thank you
Charmaine:(walking over to Oliver) how you holding up?
Oliver:(sighs) it hurts so bad. I don't know how to feel right now
Charmaine:(sits next to him and hugs him) I know baby, trust me I felt this same way when my dad passed. It's gone take a minute to come to terms with it. I'm here for you though
Oliver: thank you
Gregory:walks over to them) they're about to bring her out
Oliver pov; I watched as they brought her out. Man I can't believe this shit. She passed in their home, my dad ain't gone never be able to sleep there. We got a guest house that's fully furnished and it has a nice full bathroom inside. We never used it though. So I told my dad he was more than welcome to stay there for the time being unless we wanted to stay here. I just needed to be by his side so I told bae to gone head and go home.
Oliver: imma stay the night with dad. I wanna make sure he straight
Charmaine: nods) okay
Oliver: be careful getting home, it's about to storm
Charmaine: I will ( pulls him into a hug) I love you and I'm so sorry for your loss baby. Y'all try and take it easy okay
Oliver:nods) thank you baby. I love you too
Charmaine:(kisses him) I'll text you when I make it home
Oliver: okay
Charmaine pov: I got in the car and went home. By the time I got there dinner was done. I texts ollie and let him know I made it. I gotta break the news to the twins.
Chloe: how's dad and paw paw?
Charmaine:(sighs) they took it hard, but I think they're gonna be okay.
Andrea: my condolences Mrs. Shaw
Charmaine: thank you honey, have you told the twins Chloe?
Chloe: no, but they saw me crying
Charmaine: okay, Charm , Lando come here
(The twins come down stairs.)
Twins:yes ma'am?
Charmaine: I got some bad news sit down
Charm: what's wrong?
Orlando: Chloe wouldn't tell us why she was crying
Charmaine: sits across from them) your grandma passed away today, a little while ago
Charm:(tearing up) what?
Orlando: she promised to take us to school tomorrow. She said she would see us in the morning(tears falling)
Charmaine:(gets up and goes to sit between the hugging them tightly) I know babies I know, but sometimes things happen that we can't prevent.
Charmaine pov: it broke my heart seeing my kids cry. Chloe began to cry as well and Drea tried to console her. Once I got the twins calm down they went back upstairs and got ready for be, but by biggest baby was still going through it.
Charmaine: come here Chloe
Chloe:it isn't fair (walking over to her )
Charmaine: I know baby(hugging her ) but she's in a much better place now and she's gonna watch over you.
Chloe: sighs) i can't believe it
Charmaine:me either I just talked to her couple hours ago, it's so crazy
Chloe: do I gotta go to school tomorrow?
Charmaine: no, I'll call principal Stanley on the morning and let him know what happened. Go get ready for bed. Andrea you staying the night?
Andrea: yes ma'am
Charmaine: okay, good night y'all ...
