Oliver pov: today was my mama's funeral and I was so crushed. I wasn't ready to say bye to her. The limo came and picked us up last and we headed to our church. Mama always said she wanted her funeral right here at Greater Grace. We had her dressed so nicely. She had an all black casket with her name engraved on it, and we dressed her in all pink church suit. She look so peaceful. Charmaine was right by my side as we stood at the casket and I broke down. She rubbed my back and tried her best to calm me down. This was the worst day ever. My dad looked so numb. We had a guest preacher, my mama bestfriend Pastor Cynthia miller. She gave a beautiful service and we were grateful she was able to do it. After the service we went to the cemetery to bury her and then to the repast. I didn't want to engage with anybody. I sat at a table off in the corner by myself until my sister walked over to me. First time we've seen each other since that issue with her and Charmaine.
Ariana: you okay over here?( sitting down)
Oliver: tryna be(sighs) you?
Ariana: ehh I'm okay. Thank you for calling me
Oliver: she was your mother too. I knew dad probably wasn't thinking straight to remember
Ariana: nods) I miss you, it's been a while since we talked (sighs)
Oliver: I miss you too
Ariana: you have a niece you gotta meet
Oliver:(shocked) you had a baby?
Ariana: nods) she's 4 months, I named her Olivia
Oliver:( smiles) named her similar to me
Ariana: mhm, I see the twins are so big now.
Oliver: yeah they turn 11 next Friday. Our youngest is 6 months
Ariana: wow I've missed out on a lot
Oliver: so have I
Ariana: I'm sorry for everything. I just want us to be cool again. We used to be so close
Oliver: I would like that
Ariana:( smiles) mama would like that too
Oliver: but I want you to be cool with my wife Ari, what you said to her wasn't cool at all. She's a big part of my life and you gotta accept
Ariana: nods) I understand
Charmaine:( walks Over to the table ) sorry to interrupt, bae can you hand me his diaper bag please ?
Oliver: I'll change him, Ari got something she need to say to you
Charmaine: Bae, after what she said to me, I have nothing to say to her. I'm not mad but I can't speak to someone who told me to overdose.(grabbing the diaper bag)
Charmaine pov; I don't have nothing to say to Ariana, she literally said she hope I overdose. We'll never be cool. Ain't no hard feelings really, but she wished death on me and I don't play like that.
