Monday morning:

Oliver: baby

Charmaine: hmm ?( coming out the bathroom)

Oliver: you taking the kids to me or should I? (Coughing )

Charmaine: I'll do it ,you rest and take some cold medicine, plus I'm having a meeting with principal Stanley and her teachers

Oliver: okay , let me know how it goes

Charmaine: I will (turning off the bathroom light) you talked to you lawyer

Oliver: she's in a meeting but said she'll call once she's out

Charmaine: okay, well I'll be back shortly and you better not be in my spot

Oliver:(laughs) finna be all over this bed

Charmaine: don't get fucked up (laughs)

Charmaine pov: once me and the kids got in the car, I stopped by McDonald's to get us some breakfast and then drove to the twins school. I let them sit in the car and eat since we left kinda early. But once they were done they got ready to get out.

Charmaine: bye twins have a good day, I love you guys

Charm:(kisses her cheek) bye mama love you too

Orlando:(kisses her other cheek) bye mama I love you too

Chloe: be good y'all

Twins: bye sissy !(smiles and waves and runs into the school)

Charmaine:(pulls off) anything else gone be brought up in this meeting I should know about ?

Chloe: no ma'am

Charmaine: okay, cause if so you better let me know now

Chloe: it's nothing else I promise

Chloe pov: I was nervous about this meeting and I don't know why. I'm a good student and it shouldn't be anything else bad to be brought up. Once we got to my school we parked and got out the car. I seen Andrea and Alicia and I wanted to speak but my mama already still mad, so I kept it pushing. We made our way to the front office and then after about 5 minutes of waiting the principal called us into his office.

Principal: how are you doing this morning Mrs. Shaw?

Charmaine: I'm doing good, how about yourself ?

Principal: not too bad, so this meeting will be very quick. As you know we spoke about Chloe's absences and things of that nature. She's a very good student and her teachers can vouch for her. She's very well behaved, so polite so it was very shocking when she started missing class. She has the highest grades out of majority of the school and we are so proud of her.

Charmaine: me and her step father try our best to keep her on track. I can assure you, we handled the situation and she will not be missing anymore classes. Right Chloe ?

Chloe: yes ma'am

Principal: good good

Charmaine pov: we talked about 30 more minutes and each other teachers told me about her behavior in their classes and how she was one of their best students. I know my child is a good kid but this skipping school shit has to stop. Once the meeting was over we left out the office and she got ready to go to class.

Charmaine: Chloe

Chloe: yes ma'am ?

Charmaine: hand her her phone )don't let me have to take it again. You have this whole week to prove yourself to me. You heard your teachers say they will be calling me every day to let me know if you came to class. If by Friday you went to all your classes you'll get your electronics back. You understand me?

Chloe: yes ma'am

Charmaine: have a good day and I'll see you later (kisses her forehead) I love you

Chloe: I love you too, am I allowed to talk to Drea ?

Charmaine: nods) go ahead, but I need to have a serious talk with you two later

Chloe: yes ma'am, bye mama

Charmaine: bye honey (leaves)

Chloe pov; I had to go to the bathroom before I went to class. When I walked in I seen Andrea in the mirror putting her hair into a ponytail. I ran over to her and we started kissing. I missed my baby so much.

Andrea: mmm I missed you so much (hugging her) you okay?

Chloe:(nods) I missed you too baby. My mama says she wants to have a talk with us later

Andrea: damn, okay. How the meeting go?

Chloe: it was alright (walking into the stall) they agreed to let me do all my make up work and my teachers said they would be calling my parents every day to let them know how I'm doing and if I came to class. Did they call your dad ?

Andrea:sighs) yeah he was pissed. He's supposed to be having a zoom meeting with the teachers later. But they let me get my make up work as well

Chloe:(flushes the toilet and comes out to wash her hands) I gotta get to class, but I'll see you during lunch

Andrea: smiles) okay

Chloe:(dries her hands and turns around to hug Andrea) I love you
