6 months later:

Starrie pov; it's awkward as hell being around Oliver and his wife. He's a great father though. He comes and gets Elijah every weekend and he's always buying him things and texting to see how he's doing. Elijah loves his siblings too. Charmaine seems to accept the fact that the baby is his, but I know she's still kinda hurt. Honestly I would be too. If my husband cheated on me and got another woman pregnant it was be extremely upset. I'm glad she doesn't keep him away from Elijah. Anyways I had just pulled up at their house so I could drop Eli off. I grabbed his little bag and picked him up and walked on the porch and rung the door bell.

(Charmaine opens the door)

Starrie: hi

Charmaine: hi

Starrie: just came to drop Eli off, Oliver home ?

Charmaine: no he had an appointment

Starrie: oh, well can you tell him that I put his teething medicine in his bag and he's been kinda running a fever from it

Charmaine: yeah no problem, hi Eli (smiles)

Eli:(waves and hides his face)

Starrie:(hands him to her ) bye baby mommy will see you later

Eli:( smiles)

Charmaine pov: I took the baby inside and closed the door. Oliver should be on his way back soon. I took off Elijah's jacket and shoes and let him sit on the floor with Josiah.

Andrea: when you gone tell them about us Chloe? I'm tired of feeling like we sneaking around!

Chloe: they know about us!

Andrea: if they know about us why you been sneaking me in when they go to sleep or they at work ? We been ditching school just so we can see each other. That ain't the type of girlfriend I want

Chloe:sighs) okay okay I'm sorry (walking over to her) I just been kinda scared. I told them I did like you but I never told them we officially started dating

Andrea: it's been a while now

Chloe: I'll tell them I promise, now let's go to the house(smirks) my mama not home and my dad at therapy, we can do that thing(kissing on her)

Andrea:(smirks) let's go then

(Charmaine's phone rings)

Charmaine: (answers )hello

Principal: hello, Mrs. Shaw this is Principal Stanley

Charmaine: oh hi, everything okay?

Principal: I was calling regarding Chloe and to see if she was feeling better

Charmaine: feeling better? Chloe is in school

Principal: that's odd, we received an email from you stating that she had the flu and would be out all week because she just got home from the hospital. None of her teachers have seen her

Charmaine: what!? I did not email anyone, she's been leaving out every morning saying she's going to school. I am going to deal with her the moment she gets back

Principal: I knew something was up because she's never missed school like this. Would you like her to get her assignments for this week?

Charmaine: no, tell her teachers that every assignment she missed for this week mark as a zero. She's going to learn her lesson. Thank you for calling principal Stanley, she will be there bright and early Monday and I will be dropping her off myself

Principal:no problem you have a great day Mrs. Shaw

Charmaine: you too (hangs up)

Charmaine pov: I can not believe she's been skipping school. Im so pissed off, she's going to be in big trouble when she gets home. I was in the kitchen getting some light food together for the boys when I heard the front door unlock. I walked in the living room and put the boys in their chairs so I could feed them and waited for her to get inside.

Andrea: sees char) oh shit

Chloe:(shocked) um-h-hi mama

Charmaine: so where the hell you been?

Chloe: at school we got out early for professional development day

Charmaine: that's odd, Principal Stanley didn't mention that when I just got off the phone with him. You feeling better , the flu gone ?

Chloe: (stuttering) I-I'm sorry

Charmaine: so should I beat your ass in front of your little girlfriend or when she leaves?

Chloe: ma I -(gco)

Charmaine: matter of fact, y'all done. You not seeing her no more. That's when ya ass started getting out of control

Andrea: that's not fair ! I love her !

Charmaine: little girl, I am not talking to you, I suggest you get home cause I know your father and when he get that call from principal Stanley he gone put his foot up your ass

Chloe: mama don't do this

Andrea: sighs) Chloe imma call you okay(tries to hug her)

Charmaine:(steps between them) she don't have a phone no more, leave

(Andrea leaves)

Charmaine: Chloe why have you been skipping school?

Chloe: because I felt like it (rolls eyes )

Charmaine: you better drop that damn attitude and I mean it. You been lying to me. Had me thinking you were going to school. Then you have the nerve to email your teachers acting like it was me. Are you out of your fucking mind?

Chloe: sighs ) can I go to my room?

Charmaine: nope, go wash your hands and feed your brothers. I'm bout to go snatch all that shit out your room. No tv, no laptop, no phone, Apple Watch, and damn sure no car

Chloe: mama!

Charmaine: I don't want to hear it. You not doing shit but going to school and back home. No cheer practice, book club, none of that, do you understand me?

Chloe:(sighs)yes ma'am

Charmaine pov; I went upstairs and took her tv and all her other electronics and the I got her phone and car keys and locked them up in our room. She done lost her damn mind. I don't know if Andrea influencing her but that shit gone be over with to until she get her damn act together.
