Charmaine pov: today was Kj's funeral and it was tough. They played a slide show of pictures and it was a lot of me him and Chloe, his family , and a lot with his siblings. Once it was over I rode with Misty to the repast and Oliver went home. He had a huge family but most of them lived out of the state. Me and Misty were sitting at the table when his sister Porsha came over.
Porsha: Omg I have not seen you in so long char !
Charmaine:(smiles) hey Porsha, how you been?
Porsha: sitting down) I've been good. How are you?
Charmaine: I'm good, recently got married and I have twins now
Porsha: oh wow congratulations, was that your husband who sat next to you ?
Charmaine: mhm, sure was (smiles)
Porsha: you know I'm glad, you came to say goodbye to my brother. He loved you so much
Charmaine: nods) that was my bestfriend before anything. I had to be here
Chloe: comes over to them) excuse me mommy
Charmaine: yes baby?
Chloe: can you open my juice?
it's too hard
Porsha: omg is that little Chloe !
Charmaine: smiles) yeah she's 5 now (opening her juice) Chloe you remember tt Porsha ?
Chloe: no(shaking her head)
Porsha: I'm your daddy's baby sister (smiles) last time I saw you, you were 2, gimme a hug
Chloe:(hugs her ) you look just like daddy
Porsha: really? I never realized it
Misty; aye char imma step out side so I can make this call
Charmaine: alright, so you back in Georgia or you going back to Ohio?
Porsha: back to Ohio, but I gotta do better with getting my niece she gotta know who I am. It sucks this is how I came back into her life
Charmaine:(sighs) yeah you all do, where Marcus and Ant ?
Porsha: I think they went to the store, they should be back
Charmaine: I don't think she's met them either
Chloe: I know uncle ant, he visited daddy
( Anthony and Marcus walk over to them)
Marcus: wassup char char !(smiles)
Charmaine:(smiles) hey long time no see (hugs him)
Anthony: wassup char, how you been ?
Charmaine: I've been real good can't complain.
Anthony:hey my Cookie Monster !(picks up Chloe and spends her around )
Chloe: smiling) hi uncle Ant
Charmaine: chloe this is your daddy's big brother , your uncle Marcus
Marcus:(smiles) hi beautiful, it's nice to finally meet you
Chloe: hi uncle Marcus (smiles)
Porsha: I was just telling char , we gotta do better with spending time with our niece. We shouldn't have to came into her life at a funeral
Marcus: i agree, after all we rarely saw Kj and now look. We gotta do better as a family
Charmaine: well make sure y'all got my number and stuff like that. I want her to be able to get to know y'all and spend time with her dad's side.
Charmaine pov: Chloe spent some time getting to know her uncles and aunties and her cousins. Hopefully they keep in touch cause y'all already see I don't have any family and I want her to know she got her dad's people to connect with. We stayed about 3 hours, took some pictures and stuff and eventually we left. Misty dropped us off at home and I was so tired. When we walked in ollie was asleep on the couch and the twins were asleep in their swings.
Charmaine: go put you dirty clothes in the basket baby
Chloe: okay
Charmaine:(walking over to the couch and taps oliver) baby...
Oliver; hmm(slowly opening his eyes)
Charmaine: we back, and I got you a plate as well
Oliver: thank you baby (yawns)How was the repast ?
Charmaine:(taking off her heels) it was decent, she met her aunties, uncles and cousins. So hopefully they keep in touch and she can get to know them more
Oliver: that's good (pulling her on top of him) lay with me for a second
Charmaine: smiles) you missed me ?
Oliver: mhm, sure did
Charmaine: I need to go change tho baby. I'll be back (getting up)
