Charmaine pov: me and Chloe were at Walmart getting some snacks and I had to buy her a new swim suit for the trip. Of course she wanted to get more toys so we made our way to the toy section.
Chloe: mommy, me want (pointing to a princess blanket)
Charmaine: baby you already have a lot of princess blankets at home (smiles)
Chloe: not this one
Charmaine:( laughs and puts it into the basket) I knew you would say that
??: Charmaine?
Charmaine: Georgia...
Georgia: I'm your mother Charmaine, do not-(gco)
Charmaine: you stopped being my mother when you got married and let your husband touch me every night. My life has been amazing since y'all were out of it and I don't need you back in it. Have a great day and stay blessed babe ( pushing the basket) wanna go get lots of toys baby girl?
Chloe: yes!( claps her hands)
Charmaine pov: seeing my mother didn't phase me at all. I'm glad she's out of my life, I'm doing much better without her. Me and Chloe finished out shopping and checked out. I got to the car and strapped her inside and put the bags in the trunk and we were on our way back home.
Leslie: so how's lil grand baby Chloe doing? We've been praying so hard for her at church
Oliver:( handing her a bottle of water) she's doing much better. She didn't drink a large amount thank god
Leslie: that's great, we were so worried. Charmaine doing okay? No more relapses?
Oliver: she's doing amazing, she still attends her therapy sessions but she's 3 years clean now(smiles) I'm proud of her
Leslie:( smiles) wait a second is that a ring?
Oliver:( nods) I proposed
Leslie: Omg baby congratulations! I'm so happy for you !
Oliver: thank you mama
(Chloe and Charmaine walk in with the bags)
Oliver: woah why you ain't call me to the car?( gets up and takes the bags)
Charmaine: oh baby I had it, they weren't heavy. Hi First Lady
Leslie: hey honey, congratulations on the engagement (smiles)
Charmaine: smiles) thank you
Chloe: Gigi !(smiles and runs over to her)
Leslie:(picks her up) hey my baby, you feel better?
Chloe: mhm(nods)
Leslie: good, I need my little helper back in church with me (smiles) we're gonna do arts and crafts
Chloe: we color pictures?
Leslie: yess and paint
Charmaine pov: me and Oliver went in the kitchen and started putting the groceries up. Chloe loved being around First Lady and she's calls her Gigi. First Lady treats her like her granddaughter and me and Kj love that. Kj is happy that Oliver and his family welcome Chloe and I'm so happy they get along.
Oliver:(holding her from behind) you smell so good, like cotton candy
Charmaine: laughs) me and Chloe ate some in the car
Oliver:turns her around) and y'all ain't save me none?
Charmaine: there's another bag(wrapping her arms around his neck) your mama loves Chloe so much
Oliver:( smiles) yeah, that's her baby for sure
Charmaine: I love that they bond, my mama wasn't much of a grandma.
Oliver: she's crazy about Chloe, she was so worried about her when she was in the hospital
Charmaine: I'm so thankful for her...
