Charmaine pov: I was back in rehab and I'm doing much better. They let me out to attend my dad's funeral but then I had to come right back. The detoxing stage is always the worst because my body was constantly fighting the urge to crave the coke. They also said I would stay only a month and if I'm doing better I can get released but I have to follow up with my therapist. Today Kj was coming to visit me and I know he's was gone be upset when I tell him I got the coke from him.
Kj: wassup
Charmaine: hey
Kj: gimme some love why you acting shy ?(opens his arms)
Charmaine:( hugs him) thank you for coming
Kj: anytime, but you need to stay outta here, we got a baby to raise Char. Who gave you that shit anyways ?
Charmaine:( sighs) I stole it from your stash when I came over. I knew you had it and I needed a fix
Kj: Charmaine what the fuck !?
Charmaine: I'm sorry Kj, I just needed a little taste
Kj: shakes his head) I don't like that Char. You're one of the reasons I'm tryna stop dealing. I never knew how much it affected people until you got hooked. I don't like seeing that shit. People die from drugs and I don't want that to be you Char. You my best friend for real and I can't lose you and our baby can't lose you
Charmaine:I'm done for real. Once I'm out of here I'm not coming back no more I promise.
Kj: you're a strong woman, you got this (smiles)
Charmaine:(smiles) thank you kj(hugs him) I appreciate you so much
Kj: awww look at you. Got a soft spot for a nigga (laughs)
Charmaine:(laughs) Omg shut up
Kj: so what's going on with you and dude?
Charmaine: dude?
Kj: church boy, I don't know his name
Charmaine: oh Oliver ? Nothings going on
Kj: you know he like you right?
Charmaine: yeah, he told me that last year
Kj: so why y'all ain't together then? He cares a lot about you
Charmaine: shrugs) I don't know
Kj: how you feel about him?
Charmaine: he's an amazing guy. I like him a lot
Kj: you scared to let him love you
Charmaine: no I'm not
Kj: yes you are, it's understandable. I fucked up your trust and how you view niggas.
Charmaine:(sighs) you did but I don't know Oliver is special and I just don't feel I'm the type of girl he needs
Kj: well all imma say is he seem like a good dude from the way Misty talks about him. I'm comfortable with Chloe being around him. You better go for it before it's too late
Charmaine pov: Kj is right, Oliver is a nice guy and he really likes me and I really like him but I just don't know. I'm scared for a relationship.
