The bus was parked in a large museum and we all hailed outside. I stretched my back as it felt numb from sitting uncomfortably in the front.
We arrived a beautiful town which had a lot of tropical trees, but we only stopped in the confines of a large museum-like place which was located in the town. It's not even museum-like. It's a whole museum. But boy, it's really huge.
Our tour guide organized us before informing us that we'd be checking out the museum hall first before heading into the funfair which was taking place underneath canopies behind the hall. They also gave us facing caps with the resort logo for easy recognition and told us we'd be receiving refreshments later on.
I wore my sunglasses and the white facing cap which I just got before fishing my phone out of my bag. I wanted to get as much shots as I could. Actually, earlier I thought about abandoning my phone. If I had abandoned it I'd get a good seat. But then it would really suck if I was unable to get good pictures to keep as memory. I thought about showing Sabira, Huda and my friends the pictures which I took. I opened the camera and smiled, taking my first picture of the day as we walked into the museum.
The museum was just like any other museum.. However, this museum held antiques and relics which were only unique to that particular place. Fun fact, the town actually has a history for thier incredible iron moulding. They were skilled and detailed craftsmen and that was loudly reflected in thier proud works which were hung in the museum.
After looking around for close to two hours, we were all made to sit in a sitting area to have the refreshments as promised. It was really fun, though lonely. The only fun thing I did was snapping pictures. I wish came with someone, so we can oo and aww at all of the formidable things.
We headed downstairs after the short break and went down a hallway. The tour guide told us it was a shortcut to the venue where the funfair is taking place, rather than having to go out through the main entrance and going around the large hall building.
"Have fun everyone! We'd be leaving at 6pm sharp! Thank you all for your cooperation so far" the tour guide told us in her usual professional tone.
It was when I saw the hubbub of the fair and all of the unique items on display for selling that I remembered I had not a penny on me.
My eyes scanned around and I was lucky to find a POS. I almost released a breath of relief. I could already imagine how much it'd suck if I was unable to buy anything. Sul might even laugh at me if he asks me about the funfair while I have nothing cool to show him apart from pictures.
I withdrew fifty thousand and dived into the fair. I looked around the goods meticulously and I was shocked by how I successfully held myself back from going over the top like I did yesterday with Sul. I remembered that there were a lot of things I had to leave behind because they'd just cause me and Sul inconvenience when they measure my trolley at the airport.
I bought a few bangles and anklets which I thought would look good on my girls and also got a waistbead for myself. I don't even know if I'm even going to wear it, but I bought it anyway.
I stopped at a jewellery monger and awed over the assortments of beautiful rings which were displayed in his stall. Two rings resting in a local leather case caught my eye in that particular stall.
