August 2nd
-

Loud knocking disturbs Sams slumber and he begins to stir awake.

"Colby I- oh hello."

Sam looks to the door to find Gage at the door, barging in.

"Mh' hi."

Sam mumbles groggily as he sits up feeling the weight that was once over his waist move.

He looks over in confusion to find Colby sleeping next to him, turning to face the other way as his movement caused him to be uncomfortable after moving from their cuddle.

"I didn't know you came over."

Sam hums "I didn't mean to sleep over, it just happened."

Sam says, blinking the sleep from his eyes as he looks back over to Gage again.

"Why'd you come in?" Sam asks.

"I needed a ride somewhere, but I could just ask my mom" he says.

"Oh! wait, you can ask, I think I'm gonna head home" Gage hums.

"Alright, wake him up for me then?" Sam nods and Gage is on his way out.

Sam turns to Colby and gently nudges his shoulder.

"Colby" he speaks, shaking him gently.

Colby grumbles brushing his hand off his shoulder.

"Colby" He speaks again, shoving his shoulder.

Colby grunts becoming annoyed with how he's being awoken.

"Colby-"

"What?" he grumbles scooting away from him, tugging the blanket over his shoulder.

Sam giggles softly "wake up."

Colby hums groggily.

He turns around to face the blonde, his eyes still closed.

"C'mon," he laughs softly.

A smile grows on Colbys lips at the sound of his laugh.

"Wake up" he pokes his cheek.

"Why?" he grumbles, reaching over and grabbing onto Sam's hip gently, in attempt of pulling him down next to him.

"No!" he gasps out.

Colby grunts when his arm is pushed off.

"Gage wants you to drive him somewhere, and, I'm going to go back home" he informs.

Colby groans finally opening his eyes.

Looking up at the blonde, he frowns.

"Get up" Sam smiles down at him.

The smile itself replaces his frown with a smile of his own.

Finally sitting up he runs his fingers through his hair.

"Where did he want to go?" he asks earning a shrug from Sam.

"Dunno, didn't say" humming, Colby looks at the blonde.

"Well, why are you going home? Can't you stay?"

"I dunno, I guess I could but-"

"No! please stay Sammy" the blonde smiles, looking into Colbys eyes.

He hesitates.

His mind wondering to the brunettes words from last night.

He lets out a small sigh before nodding.

"Okay, I suppose I could stay" Colby grins, more than happy with his answer.

"Great! You can come with while I take him wherever he needs, and, if your up for it, we can go to the back roads?"

Sam smiles nodding his head "okay."

-
Colby smiles glancing over at Sam as he yells out joyfully, a large grin plastered on his face as they speed through the back roads.

Sam unbuckles, reaching up and opening the sunroof.

"Be careful" Colby warns.

The smaller smiles and nods his head.

Lifting himself up he allows his upper half to stick out the top of the car.

He grins when he feels the wind blast across his face, his blonde locks flying every which way.

Closing his eyes he smiles allowing his hands to go up.

Colby glances up and let's go of the wheel with one hand.

He reaches up and gently grasps Sam's hip giving him a bit more security as he stumbles a bit.

Sam gasps looking down and he smiles a bit.

He reaches down and gently taps Colby's hand, silently telling him he's okay.

Colby smiles, pressing down on the gas causing Sam to let out a shriek making Colby chuckle.

The sounds of his laughs making his heart swell, loving how happy he sounds, the growing love he feels for the blonde growing every second.
