Liam stands in the middle of the driveway just stepping out of a car, luggage in hand.
"What..?" Sam stutters.
"Holy shit! I missed you so much!" Liam exclaims.
He runs over, pulling Sam in his arms.
Sam looks over at Colby as he slowly and hesitantly hugs him back.
"Aren't you happy?! Why aren't you talking?" Liam asks as he pulls away.
Sam looks up at Liam.
"I- uh I didn't know you were coming? W-why are you here?" Sam asks not knowing how to process all of this.
"Wha- Sam! I told you two days ago! remember? over our call?"
Sam furrows his brows, confused, until it clicks.
"Oh! o-oh right! ha I remember now, oops.. silly me.." Liam giggles pulling him into another embrace.
"I missed you so much."
Sam nods his body instinctively melting into his.
"Uh Sa-sam?" they break apart, Sam turning to Colby.
"I- um uh" he fumbles over his words.
His voice broken sounding.
Sam frowns seeing the obvious hurt and pain in his eyes.
"Uhm babe? who's that?"
Liam asks wrapping an arm around his waist protectively.
"He's um he-hes-"
Colby looks at Sam with a hurt look.
"I'm going." Colby mutters pushing passed the two.
He runs down the street to his house.
"Odd," Liam shrugs.
He turns to Sam.
"You okay?"
He rubs Sam's waist soothingly.
"Y-eah.. I-i need some water" he says.
He breaks out of his grasp.
Sam turns, rushing to the kitchen.
Getting a glass of water he downs it like it's nothing.
He shakily places the now empty glass in the sink.
"Fuck.. why are you here?" he whimpers.
He looks out the window.
Watching as Liam pulls another suitcase out of the trunk of the car.
Sam splashes his face with water letting out a shakey breath.
He turns off the faucet.
Grabbing a towel he dries his hands.
Patting his face dry he ignores the mascara that wipes off onto the towel and pulls out his phone.
He goes to Colbys contact.

Liam walks over.

"Oh look, your ruining your pretty makeup honey" Liam smiles, wiping the smeared mascara.
Sam chokes back a sob falling into Liam's chest.
"Oh baby, I didn't realize you missed me this much, if I knew that I would've came so much sooner."
Sam let's out a choked sob hating how Liam doesn't realize his tears aren't happy ones.
