October 19th
-

Sticking his arm out the window he moves it with the harsh wind.

He looks up at the stars through the sunroof sighing contently.

"You doing okay?" Colby asks, glancing at the blonde.

Sam hums turning his head to look at him "Colby," he speaks.

Colby hums.

"That's a dumb question."

He chuckles glancing at him again "oh I know, 'm sorry, but you know what I meant" he says.

Sam hums "I could be better" Sam smiles.

He reaches over, turning up the radio.

Colby hums pressing on the gas allowing the car to go faster.

Leaning back comfortably, he smiles as he faintly hears the shriek of joy from the boy besides him over the loud music.

Sam looks over at Colby seeing the small smile on his lips as he focuses on the road- cautious of anything that were to show up infront of them in the dark night.

Colby looks over at him and they make eye contact.

Sam smiles.

He watches as his hair blows every which way much like his own.

Trailing down, his eyes land on his arm as it grips the steering wheel tight, his veins prominently showing.

Sam bites his lip a pink hue finding it's way to his face.

He looks down to his other hand seeing it switching gears on the stick shift.

He watches as it finds its way to his thigh.

Colby grips it making the hue turn into a deep shade of pink.

He looks away to hide his flushed face despite it being dark.

"Hey," Colby speaks, squeezing Sam's thigh.

Sam hums looking over, turning down the radio to hear better.

"Wanna go to your place for a bit? watch a movie or something?"

Sam smiles nodding his head.

"Sure."

-
They find themselves at the tree near Sam's window.

"So.. how do we get up?" Sam asks looking up.

Colby chuckles "easy, just climb" he says taking a step to it.

"Erm okay" Colby smiles.

"Don't worry Sammy, I've got you, I'll tell you were to grab and where not to, yeah?" Sam nods.

"Alright, come" Sam steps closer.

Colby points up "I can lift you up to that branch if you'd like, skip a few steps in the climbing, just put your feet on those two places and your hands there, okay?"

Sam nods "okay, I'd like that.

Colby hums going behind Sam.

"Ready?" nodding, Sam nervously looks up at the branch, holding his hands up a bit.

Holding back his gasp, his stomach fills with butterflies as Colby grabs his hips.

"Okay, I'm lifting you now."

Sam nods slowly, letting out a shakey breath.

"Don't worry," Colby murmurs.

"If you slip I'll be here to catch you, okay? I won't let anything happen to you, promise."
