"'Sup bitches!" I laugh softly.

"Hi babe" Jake says, placing a kiss to her cheek before beginning to drive.

I watch as she places a cup of coffee in the cup holder, complaining to Jake about how messy his car is after pulling out an empty can from the holder.

She turns around and smiles.

"Hi, I'm Tara, your Sam right?" she introduces.

"Yep" I smile liking how nice she seems already.

She smiles, looking over at Colby then back at me.

"Sooo, how long have you been dating?" she grins.

My eyes go wide "wha- me and col- no I'm not- we're not- I-" I stutter out.

Tara cuts me off with a gasp "your not?! oh my god I'm so sorry!"

She looks at Jake and hits his shoulder "you told me they were!" he laughs.

"No I didn't!"

I look at Colby and he shakes his head with a light chuckle looking down at me.

He gives me a small smile.

I'm able to make out the slight hue of pink on his cheeks.

"You did! when I asked who we were going with!"

"The fuck? when did I say they were together then?" Tara groans.

"You said 'colby, Sam- his boyfriend'" "no I said 'colby, Sam, his boyfriend.'"

I shake my head at their miscommunication.

"As in Colby, Sam, and his boyfriend- as in Sam's"

"Why didn't you say and?! god Jake your so stupid" she huffs out.

I giggle softly, meeting Tara's eyes as she turns again "sorry" she says and I shrug.

"It's okay" she hums.

"So you two aren't dating? Colby chuckles.

"No, he's with him" Colby motions towards Liam.

Tara shifts a bit to comfortably look at him as he's sat behind her.

"Oh," a frown forms on her face.

I sigh looking at him seeing as he's on his phone not paying attention.

I frown seeing as he's smiling at whatever he's doing.

I shake my head looking at Tara, ignoring it.

"How long?" she asks again.

"Uhm a little over a year" she hums.

"And how'd you meet?" I gently nudge Liam in the side.

"School" I answer ignoring Liam when he curses in pain.

"That's all?" I look over at Liam giving him a subtle glare.

"What?" he asks.

I huff out a breath, rolling my eyes as I look back at Tara.

"Hey, I'm Tara" she introduces.

"Ohh, Liam" he realizes my annoyance.

"I was just asking how you guys met" he hums begining to tell her in more detail.

I look over at Colby seeing his head against the window looking out of it.

I gently tap him "hm?" he hums.

"You okay?" I ask.

He hums looking over at me "yeah, why?"

"You sure?" he smiles.

"I'm alright, I promise, just hot" I hum.

"Tell me about it" I roll my eyes.

He grins.

"Sorry, but it only makes sense for you to sit in the middle Sammy, besides not like your completely squished there's still room" I glare at him.

"Yeah, there'd be more if you both weren't man spreading like animals" he laughs scooting over a bit, moving his leg.

"You could've said something Sam, I didn't realize" he chuckles.

"I tend to do it more when I'm hot, I don't realize."

I giggle scooting over a little.

"s'okay, it wasn't that bad I was exaggerating but thanks for the extra space" I grin.

He scoffs as he nudges my shoulder "fuck off."

I giggle nudging him back.

"Sam."

I look over at Liam confused with his use of tone.

He wraps his arm around me, pulling me closer.

"Ugh Liam, no it's too hot for that."

I brush his arm off.

He hums, putting his hand on my thigh.

"Look" he holds his phone between us.

I look onto it with him.

"Hey," Colby gently taps me.

I look over.

"You hungry?" I grin.

"Yes!" he smiles leaning over to the front seat.

He pats Jake's shoulder "go there," he points somewhere.

The two share more words but I can't hear due to the music as well as Liam getting my attention again.

I look at the menu of the taco bell as Jake pulls into the drive thru.

Colby rolls down his window.

"What do you want?" he asks as Jake orders for himself and Tara.

"Mh' number 3?" I ask looking at him and he hums.

"Anything else?" a voice speaks from the speaker.

"Uh we'll also do two of your 5-layer burritos, and the number 3 please" he orders.

"Any drinks with that?"

"Large Dr pepper please" I smile at the fact he remembered my favorite drink.

"Yo Liam, do you want anything?" Jake asks looking back at him.

I look over at him "no, I'm good" he answers.

"You sure? we're gonna be there for a while and we're not going to get anything on the way back" Colby says.

"I know. I said I'm good, I don't want anything" he answers rather harsh looking at his phone with a roll of his eyes.

I frown "asshole" I hear Jake mutter.

My frown deepens.

"Will that be all?"

"Uh could you toss in another one of those burritos, then a baja blast freeze, then that will be all" Colby says.

The man reads back the order "total at the window."

"Thank you" Colby says before Jake drives forward.

Colby grabs his wallet and pulling out his credit card, paying at the window.

Getting the food Jake begins to drive, Colby handing Tara her and Jake's food.

He hands me my food.

"Thank you" he smiles.

"Of course" he reaches into the bag.

"Here" he holds a burrito out to Liam and he looks up and takes it.

"Stop it" I say nudging him with my elbow again seeing as he rolls his eyes again.

"Baby" he groans putting his hand on his side.

"No I don't care, your being a dick" he sighs.

"Sam" I look up seeing Tara handing me my drink.

"Thanks" she hums handing Colby his freeze.

"How far are we?" I ask.

"About 30 minutes" Tara answers, I hum begining to eat my food.
