Avneet was busy in taking the interviews but nobody reached her expectation and a few of the candidates were not satisfied with the pay or her conditions. Avneet was now fed up with the interviews of the ranks and was sitting holding her head when a peon came to her saying.

Peon= Ma'am there is one more interview left.

Avneet (confused)= Are you sure? Who is it..?

Peon= He didn't tell his name ma'am but he is young and is from India.

Avneet thought for a second and asked peon to send him inside. The peon nodded and left, finding Sidd standing outside the doorstep only waiting eagerly.

Sidd (concerned)= What she said..?

Peon= Go and make sure not to make her angry, she is already upset.

Sidd nodded and knocked on the door. Taking her permission he came inside. He sat on the seat in front of Avneet and the interview started. Avi started flipping his papers and going through them while he was getting nervous second by second. After seeing his achievements and papers she looked at him to find him looking down. She closed the file and placed her elbows on the table.

Avu= So, Mr. Nigam why do you need this job...?

Sidd (stammer)= because I...I want to settle here, and I am in need of it.

Avi felt his stammering.

Avu= Mr. Nigam, speak with confidence. Don't stammer like this. This is unprofessional behavior.

Sidd lifted his head sitting straight not meeting his eyes.

Sidd= yeah ma'am

Avu= Your qualification is excellent but the job requires experience. Do you have it...?

Sidd started feeling nervous answering her about it, he knew she would ask further and further and he was uncomfortable thinking everyone will blame him only.

Sidd= My....My brother has his own company in India. He is a businessman and me...I have worked for him so, yeah I have experience.

Avu found it quite unusual. Like if he is the brother of a businessman then why is he here..? Leaving his own business why he came here too to settle here but not for business..?

Avu= So, why you left from there and came here..?

Sidd (stammering, scared,stressed)= I..I was helpless. The situation was..like that only. I, I can't tell you. I'm sorry

How could he tell that he came here escaping his brother who considers him the murderer of his wife? It was a Shame for him.

Avu sensed his nervousness and struggled with the questions thinking it was their personal matter.

Avu= Okay, you are appointed as my Personal Assistant. But for that, you have to prove yourself.

Sidd= I will try my best.

Avu smiles. Sidd stood to leave but then again something strikes him and he turned towards Avneet's table facing her. He felt awkward asking for it but he had no other choice.

Sidd= Ma'am....I..I am in need of something.

Avu looked at him confusingly. It was just a minute of his approval and he is demanding something. That was weird for her.

Avu= You can ask anything I am listening to you.

Sidd (sadly, embarrassed)= Ma'am Can I get...get an ad...advance payment for t-this month..?

Avu got angry hearing it. Just a minute before he joined and he is demanding money.

Avu (angry, cold)= So, you want advance ..? You joined just now and you are in need of advance wow.

Sidd (tears in eyes)= Ma'am pls don't deny, try to understand I need money. I don't have any money for residence. My landlord won't tolerate if I don't give his advance

Avu= It's not our policy to give some advance on the first day only and it's not our headache too. It's your matter. Nobody ever asked for advance payment like the way you are doing, being the brother of a businessman. Why would you need money if your brother is a businessman..? You are trying to fool me?

Sidd (holding his tears listening to her taunt.)= Sorry Ma'am. So sorry.

He was used to it now but the way everyone taunts him hurts him deep inside thinking his own brother didn't believe him.

Avu= you can leave now. Ask the manager he will guide you on what to do.

Sidd nodded and left the room somehow. He was having a severe headache. He tried to stand with the support of the wall but because of hunger, he was feeling his whole world spinning. Many people working saw him, and they started gossiping. Faisu who was Avneet's trustful employee came to him.

Faisu= hey, are you fine? You seem dull.

Sidd (mumbling)= water, water.

Faisu (shouted)= peon, get a glass of water.

Sidd was continuously mumbling water because of the headache, he couldn't hear anything and stand and within a minute he blanked out.

As it's Sidshek's birthday so, I will do a double update today.
