Chapter 18

Vaishu was in her room, sitting on her bed with laptop in her lap and was busy emailing some brand new designs which she made. That's when, a knock was heard by her.

Vaishu: Come in.

Vaishu's mom came in while Vaishu glanced at her clicking the send option. Vaishu's mom came and sat beside Vaishu. She kept her laptop aside and passed a smile to her mom.

Vaishu (smiling): You wanted to talk about something.

Vaishu's mom (hesitated): yes but....

Vaishu raised her eyebrow and placed her hand on her mother's hand. Her mother looked at her while she shook her head demanding for an answer.

Vaishu's mom: A-Actually, your father and I wanted to meet our princess.

Vaishu's smile vanished in a snap of time. She was looking at her mother with loneliness in her eyes.

Vaishu (blinking her eyes multiple times): Oh, Sam. She will be happy meeting you.

Vaishu's mom understood her situation as mother. She cupped Vaishu's cheeks, kissing her forehead.

Mom: I know dear! It's hard but always remember we are always with you.

Vaishu smiled wiping her tears.

Vaishu (keeping her hand on her mom's hand): It's fine Mom! You can call me. Infact I also want to meet her.

Mom: But then Abhi will get to know that you are here and we were hiding you.

Vaishu looked up at her mother with smirk placed on her lips.

Vaishu: Don't worry mom! Now, I know how to deal with monsters like him.

Vaishu's mom looked down caressing Vaishu's hands while she was continuously smirking with shine in her eyes.

In london, At cafe!

Sidd was sitting in the table at the corner of the cafe all lost in his thoughts. His eyes wasn't blinking and he was just looking at a couple who was sitting in front of him at a distance. Yes, it was his free time as there was no rush in the cafe. That's when, Arun passed by him and noticed him lost. He exhaled sharply dragging the sofa and sat on it. His action dragged Sidd out of his thoughts. He realized his surrounding.

Sidd (mumbling): What happened? Are the costumers large in number? Let's go, we shouldn't be late......

Sidd stood up to leave but Arun made him sit on his sofa while Sidd looked at him totally confused.

Arun: Sit down! There are no such costumers.

Sidd (looking around): then?

Arun (exhaling sharply): Sidd, I will be direct. You very well know that you are falling for Avneet ma'am then why are you backing off?

Sidd looked at his astonished. No words came out of his mouth.

Arun: Avneet ma'am loves you. You also are falling for her. You both make a happy couple.....

Sidd (cutting him, closing his eyes): It's nothing like that Arun. I am not falling for her. She is no one to me.

Arun: Whom are you lying to? Me or yourself.

Sidd glanced at him.

Arun: What's the matter when you both love each other?

Sidd (whispering): I have some dark secrets which can make my position weak infront of her. She is a billionare and I? I am just a mere worker. She also won't believe me as my brother didn't.

Arun who couldn't hear anything raised his eyebrow.

Arun (irritated): What are you mumbling Siddharth?

Sidd (realizing what he was saying): Ah, nothing. I-I think the manager is calling me. I should leave otherwise he will deduct my pay.

Sidd stood up excusing himseld. Arun knew he was making an excuse and he didn't said anything. Sidd left from there leaving an annoyed Arun who banged his hand on the table frustrated.

In India,
It was evening,

Vaishu's mom and dad were sitting in lounge watching T.V while Vaishu wasn't home, that's what her fathers thoughts but she was still at home and was in her room taking bath. That's when, the door bell rang. Vaishu's mom glanced at Vaishu's father who was seeing her only. He got up and opened the door to see Abhi standing there with Sam in his arms. As soon as Sam saw Vaishu's dad, she started squeezing.

Sam (squeezing in excitement): Nanaaaaa Jii...!! See me is heleeeee ....(here)

Vaishu's father melted and carried Sam in his arms, kissing her forehead and cheeks.

Abhi (bending down): Namaste Uncle!

Vaishu's dad: May god vless you! Come inside!

Abhi smiled and entered inside closing the door behind.

Vaishu's dad (louder): Sam's Nani. Look who is here?

Vaishu's father spoke as he walked towards Vaishu's mom whk stood up, taking Sam in her lap kissing her whole face. As soon as Abhi neared lounge, he felt something strange. He felt as if, as if Vaishu is somewhere near him.

Abhi (in mind): Vaish, are you really here or its my illusion? No it can't be my illusion, then why am I feeling as you are somewhere around me?

He was confusingly looking around getting strange kinds of thoughts. That's when, his eyes caught Vaishu's room whose door was slightly open. He glanced at Vaishu's parents who was playing with Sam and started taking baby steps towards her room. He opened the door entering inside to find the room clean but a messy bed with curtains flying due to air. A fresh feeling ran inside him. That's when, his eyes caught a thing which he shouldn't have seen but now he saw it. His eyes filled with tears.
