Oh god, my head is pounding. I'm not hungover I'm just dehydrated and starving.
I only had like one drink, I spent the rest of my time on the dance floor which was a mistake cause my legs are sore.
This is what I get for trying to have a good time. It was all worth it though.
I lay in my bed for a while before gathering my strength to sit up.
I run my hands over my face and yawn.
Grabbing clothes to change into, I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
After finishing up and rinsing my mouth, I turn the shower on and wait for the hot water to come.
I undress and step in. Slowly putting my entire body in water.
Sighing in relief as the water hits my body and trickles down, I take my time.
Starting with body wash, I gently brush along my body, massaging my sores.
Rinsing it off I massage my head with shampoo.
It really feels like I'm at a spa, not like I've ever been to one but it's how I imagine it would be.
After finishing taking a shower I step out and use the towel to dry myself.
Wrapping it around my waist I use the hair dryer to speed up the process of drying my hair.
Once it's dry I put the dryer away and Adam walks in abruptly.
Looking at each other awkwardly I say, "your shirt is unbuttoned"
Realizing that he's been staring he says, "so sorry, I'll wait for you to come out," and he immediately backs out and closes the door.
I laugh at the situation and get dressed.
stepping out I find him pacing in the living room.
"It's all yours," I say jokingly and he looks up and apologizes again.
He heads to the bathroom and I hang my towel on the railing in front of my bed to air it out.
Going to the kitchen I grab a cereal box and make a bowl.
Sitting on the couch I scroll through Netflix while eating my cereal.
"Yesterday was a lot," Adam says walking in and fixing his clothes he changed into.
"Tell me about it, I woke up with a headache and I think I blacked out," I say as he makes himself some cereal and sits next to me.
"God, did we get drunk? I can't remember half of the night" he says looking at the TV.
"Doubt it, I remember only having one and that's it, we should be fine," I say picking a show.
We watch and finish our cereal and relax on the couch for a while.
It feels weird just sitting here, I need something to do.
"Hey wanna go get coffee?" I ask and find Adam asleep.
I grab a blanket next to me and cover him.
I put on my shoes and grab the keys. Turning around I find Adam standing at the door.
"Son of a- oh my god! I thought you were asleep" I say jumping back and putting my hand on my chest from getting scared by him.
"I was for a bit, so where are we going?" He says smiling like he didn't just get up from a nap.
Such a golden retriever.
"Well I'm getting coffee," I say and we head out.
We walk over to a small local coffee shop nearby.
